African Leaders Set Obama Straight on Homosexuality
During his recent trip to Africa, President Obama was the focus of some no-nonsense instruction about homosexuality both from citizens as well as top African religious and government leaders. At a joint press conference June 27 with Senegal's president, Macky Sall (shown), Obama declared: âMy basic view is that regardless of race, regardless of religion, regardless of gender, regardless of sexual orientation, when it comes to the law, people should be treated equally, and that's a principle that I think applies universally.â
Responding to Obama's comments Senegal's President Sall quickly made it clear that he and his nation do not see eye-to-eye with America's chief executive. âWe are not ready to decriminalize homosexuality,â Sall emphasized, with his people and even the nation's major newspapers expressing their overwhelming support.
In fact, many of Senegal's citizens thought their president...

Unprofitable Servant Amen! and Amen!
And if I might add: One of the things I appreciate in seeing in a brother, is the really manliness of treating a sister with the respect, honor and appreciation she deserves as child of God, a very much wanted part of the family of God. Thanks for your good example to our precious sister.
JPW, I have to think genuine Godly women are far mor valuable then we often realize in the times we are living in and like US I 'pray God's richest blessing to you and your family' as well.
jpw wrote: Unprofitable Servant, you have a great evening. you've put out some good info. would disagree on a few points and point to the larger picture of what a derivative is, maybe another time.
jpw, thanks for your gracious response. I know we don't see eye to eye on many issues but I do hope we have a larger bond than having been thought of being of the opposite gender. So, I want to say I really appreciate that just as our Lord emphasis was to the churches in Revelation so you call us to repent and overcome. You put out a great reminder to all of us not to put our trust in political parties, as they will surely let us down, but in the Lord God Almighty. Also, your constant call to pray for and enter into the sorrows of our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ is much needed, they would undoubtedly be thankful to just face the trivial issues we wrangle with here in the States. I know I speak for many here when I say, we deeply appreciate your voice here in this forum and wish God's richest blessing to you and your family.

I always comment the same. What was once a strong leader; a leader looked up to and respected the world over, has become a laughing stock; the butt of jokes. Why not when we continue to supply our cash and arms to our sworn enemies so they can use them to kill us. Even the enemy must go, "huh?"
Good post below, JPW. I nominate you the 1st Lady of Nutrition, based in the US, but with supreme authority the world over. You know a lot about chems and the real health benefits of our food.
Okay, jpw, first I am in disagreement with John Y assessment of the Rep.& Dems, and will state upfront I agree both parties have culpability and the Rep. have been a huge disappointment. But lets put the blame mainly where it belongs, on the liberal democratic party. The current fiscal problems that came to a head in 2007 happened due to the sub-prime crisis. (other areas domino-ed due to it) That was due a to program started under democrat Jimmy Carter and rigorously enforced under democrat Bill Clinton (banks were forced to make the loans or go out of business) When Greenspan and the republicans tried to rein it in, it was stopped by three democratic senators (Obama, Dodd, Frank) who were the recipients of the largest campaign contributions from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. President Obama took the TARP money the Bush had not spent (nearly half) and spent every penny to boost his union buddies. (oh they vote and support democrats) We have huge financial boondoggles headed our way to bankrupt the country. All started by democrats. (Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Obamacare) Any attempts to reform the first three have been resisted and demonized by, yup, liberal democrats, and the latter passed with no republican support. You wanted facts there they are.
1 Timothy 4:1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, 3 men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods, which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.---NASB

JY Yes! Some do speak against abortion and homosexuality, even a lot.....but when it comes time to really choose for life, with empty lip service and excuses, because they would still rather go along with, even seek the approval of democrats and vote right along with them, than to part company with them.
Hmmmmm, I seem to think you with your Mass attendance ought to be able to identify with something like this.
How sad it is when other, lesser (at least perceived to be) nations are now rebuking US when I could swear it used to be the other way around? At least when I was a kid, growing up in an America that was only starting to be ravaged by divorce, and homosexuality was something that wasn't even talked about in polite company. How the "mighty" have fallen indeed.

Christopher -- her foods are being rejected in the schools.... kids are getting dried out vegetables, shipped in, they take out the unhealthy salts, fats, and meats....
....what the kids need is healthy fats, locally grown vegetables and meats from healthy grassfed animals.
if she was teaching children about proper nutrition, she would also be for the end of converting african farms to gm crops, where they have to make contract with an american company for life (their seed does not reproduce, back to the topic of the gay west) --
because a locally grown carrot would be yummy, as well as fresh beef from brother Joe down the road, freshly ground into a hamburger, with a side of freshly made cream from Bessie the cow.
However, the school acquiring milk from a local vendor would be considered commerce contraband and its illegal for Joe to slaughter a cow on his farm.
And as much as a local school cafeteria worker may want to order carrots from her friend down the road, the school district will tell her to order from their national vendors, I suppose there is some kind of chemical you can add to make carrots seem like they are fresh...
we go to great lengths to not use our available resources!
while our children are on food stamps. pathetic! go Africa!
While Africa is being ravaged by Aids, and millions are dying slow, painful deaths due solely to the spreading of this incurable, barely treatable, disease by homosexuals, King and Queen OBama are promoting the legalization of the abomination; effectively telling the next generation, worldwide, that it's cool, and okay to be gay. Get lost...the bith of you. These two jokes have no business giving advice or running anything. All of a sudden, Mrs Obama is a health expert as well; telling the people of the US what we should or cannot eat. I remember when their supporters were swooning her and tellibg her hiw fabulous, fit, and beautiful she is...hmmm...beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. They all used to compliment her on her toned arms as well and she would make a muscle for the cameras. All I ever saw was a couple of bones wrapped in skin, but because she's been so glamorized and conditioned by the media, she now sees herself as some sort of super hero. I'm just disgusted with them spending outlr money and spreading eternally destructive lies...
May God preserve the African message of Christ to the fallen west.
The rep ran a candidate who brought to his state abortion and same sex marriage. no excuse for this. and also supported the end of posse comitatus.. (for your "safety") -- see the Magna Carta from 800 yrs ago.
and rep's on here probably cannot even name the legisl that created this or how it may relate to the NSA takeover of all communications, or even how that happened.
the bailouts, bipartisan, threw trillions of wealth out of the currency, more than welfare ever could. now investors trying to get their gold assets in their hands. world events pass by the eyes of our people.
and people are on welfare because there are no jobs! and the land dev of the indl (which made this country great) is punitive.
lets keep on the treadmill, running in circles, why not?
the dems and reps ran the same platform!
oh, why reason with people with facts?
the Lord will judge rightly.
our pastors are salivating for a spot with Glen Beck (see man in the moon), another Mormon, who is bringing Joseph Smith relics etc, while supported by Christian learning institutions.
Wow, is there a real evangelical left in the land?
Mike wrote: If Republicans are capable of thinking and comprehension, why do they want to be like Democrats?
While neither of us can convince John Y. about the republicans, I will say with the battle going on in Texas and the discussions going on in the rest of the country I am encouraged that maybe the republican party can right itself Mike. I don't agree with the republican party platforms entirley, they are against entitlement programs except for big business. I think corporate welfare should end as well. I still have a glimmer of hope for the republican party.
