Now captains of faith blast Obama

A coalition of faith leaders – ranging from the president of the National Association of Evangelicals to an official for the Church of Scientology – reprimanded President Obama and his health care plan for infringing on the faith of employers by forcing them to provide abortion services to their employees.

“The government has neither a compelling interest nor the appropriate authority to coerce one citizen to fund or facilitate specific lifestyle choices of another,” the group says in a letter to Obama released today.

“If the federal government can force morally opposed individuals to purchase contraception or abortion-causing drugs and devices for a third party, what prevents this or future administrations from forcing other Americans to betray their deeply held convictions?” ...

Quite a rogues' gallery. They should learn The Truth Behind The Church's Purpose. It's not for a political podium, Rendering To Caesar: A Biblical Perspective On Government.

If even evil people know how to give good gifts, what is the scriptural basis for them not agreeing to reprimand the president? If we had to wait for some of the pilgims to say anything, we'd hear one of two things.
1) This world is not my home(interpretation, I don't care what the lost do, I'm outa here)
2) Romans 13:1,2. (not 3,4)
1. No, I don’t think that is true. I do care what the lost do, but I care more about the gospel of my Lord and Savior; therefore I don’t acknowledge in any way those who are outside the true faith as possibly being moral. When the ECT and the Manhatten declaration were drafted, that is exactly what the natural consequences of doing that were. So, I would certainly say that Obama was evil, but I wouldn’t sign documents with or appear with those outside the faith to make that point clear. To me that is watering down the church or the gospel. But, please don’t think that Pilgrims don’t speak out.

2. Unsure what your point is?
My thoughts are from 2 Cor. 6:14-18, among others. Christ doesn’t need the help of the unsaved to accomplish His purposes. So, why sign documents with those who reject the gospel?

And then of course we have the ECT and the Manhatten Declaration. This is what occurs when we enter into moral agreement with heretics.
There is not a Pilgrim on the list.
