Is Modesty Making a Comeback? Designer Criticized for Viral Swimsuit Evolution Speech Now Sold Out of Inventory
There’s a generation that knows her as the white Power Ranger or soap opera character, but actress Jessica Rey has a new crusade that’s getting some recent viral attention — a campaign for modest swimwear.

Rey’s line called Rey Swimwear with the slogan “Who Says It Has to Be Itsy Bitsy” launched in 2008 with vintage-inspired swimsuits manufactured out of Orange County, California.

Q, a Christian group, recently featured a speech by Rey — The Evolution of the Swimsuit: Can Modesty Make a Comeback — that spurred viral discussion in the days that followed. ...

I would agree Nityananda,that modesty begins in the heart and will show outwardly to honor our Lord and Saviour.

In addition, I have seen more than one young woman who does NOT look 'frumpy and dumpy' in some very modest swimwear-- some of whom are gorgeous in appearance. True, it's not the majority of young women.

Also, immodesty in dress does not end at the beach. And like I said earlier, modesty also has to do with behavior. I'm sure you all can relate to what I'm speaking about.

Not exactly. Modesty is more than just simply wearing clothes. Have any of you heard Paul Washer's statement that a [woman] can always be dressed in Puritanical clothing and still exude sensuality through her behavior?

Well, they're wearing something, I see in England they want a little Modesty for the "Sun" Newspaper, Campaigners angry as The Sun opts to keep Page 3, with Rupert Murdock as publisher, that probably won't happen.
