Facing strong winds and a terrifying view, Nik Wallenda, a daredevil from the famous "Flying Wallendas" family, stepped across a quarter-mile-long wire strung 1,500 feet above the Colorado River Gorge in Arizona with only his sense of balance to fend off a fall and certain death.
"Thank you Jesus. Help me relax, Lord. God you are so good. Thank you Lord. Praise you Father God," Wallenda said to keep his nerves calm during the treacherous walk.
John Yurich USA from USA writes: Yes, pretty impressive. Wallenda must have had a shield of divine protection around him during that stroll on that high wire.
How about that...I totally agree. I watched the entire thing and figured he must have had angels watching over him; with him. Joel Olsteen got a nice boost, being there for the family the entire time and getting camera time. I didn't find out until last night that the whole production was on a 10-min time delay in case it didn't go well. Really incredible feat, and when he just stopped at one point, crouched down and just sat there...wow. Next, he wants to tightrope across the Chrysler and Empire state buildings which I don't think NYC will allow. I know people have passions, but he has a family that needs him. Quite the career choice.
Yes, pretty impressive. Wallenda must have had a shield of divine protection around him during that stroll on that high wire. When my Nephew and Niece In-Law from Tulare, California post on their Faceboook pages that they are going riding on their motorcycle I post a prayer on their page asking Jesus place a shield of divine protection around my Nephew and Niece In-Law to protect them during their motorcycle journey.
