The FBI has gained access to driver’s license photos for residents of Nebraska, Illinois, South Carolina, Utah, North Carolina, Delaware, Texas and other states to hunt for suspects in criminal investigations.
In memorandums obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by the Electronic Privacy Information Center, the FBI is authorized to search state databases, which include images and personal information.
“A probe photo refers to the photo of the subject of an active FBI investigation that is submitted for search against a photo repository,” states the FBI’s agreement with Illinois, which is nearly identical to agreements with other states....

How about providing a list of your favorite sources, Jim? Esp the left-winger types, the ones who have a full public education, and are proud of it. If they have completed courses in "global warming as political change tool," or "saving the snail darter from greedy capitalism," it might be useful in broadening right-wingers' narrow perspective. Wouldn't want to be stuck listening to dumb 5th grade types.
Ever heard of fake I.D.s, Mike? They are a major problem. A fellow often sends me interesting tidbits off the Drudge report, so perhaps you should check that more?

FBI begins installation of $1 billion face recognition system across America. This was pointed out in Sept. 2012. 2)I have to say, I'm trying to think why I should get excited about it, except for the $1 billion. Considering all the illegals we have running around the country, is it that bad of an idea?
1) That's because we generally don't find out about things, or where they are going, until conservative talk talks about it. Or some obscure govt employee reveals it.
2) Illegals have legal driver's licenses?
