NSA spying flap extends to contents of U.S. phone calls
The National Security Agency has acknowledged in a new classified briefing that it does not need court authorization to listen to domestic phone calls, a participant said.
Rep. Jerrold Nadler, a New York Democrat, disclosed on Thursday that during a secret briefing to members of Congress, he was told that the contents of a phone call could be accessed "simply based on an analyst deciding that."
If the NSA wants "to listen to the phone," an analyst's decision is sufficient, without any other legal authorization required, Nadler said he learned. "I was rather startled," said Nadler, an attorney and congressman who serves on the House Judiciary committee....

And someone knows how many times ma and pa did you know what.
"Any analyst at anytime can target anyone at any selector anywhere. But I sitting at my desk certainly had the authorities to wiretap anyone from you, or your accuntant, to a federal judge, to even the president."--Edward Snowden
Listen Folks, The NSA vouyers can see & hear EVERYTHING via your cell phones; Especially when you take it with you to the bathroom--
I had another flag pop up again on facebook which said the actor (forgot his name) had died at age 51 that played on the Sopranos..I can only guess why they are doing this now..especially the remark about the NSA being able to stop a terrorists plot through their surveillace.
Ah, this is the only thread I'm going to look at, at the moment anyway, But, I couldn't help see your comment Mike! My you do wax elegant on the topic! The lack of mental acuity of politicians I most certainly agree with.
Well, just like I help jpw, on natural foods (I need put up some URLs from the Jerusalem Post again ), here is something that was blurted out when I fired up my FireFox browser, do with it what you wish--Stop Watching Us.

No patriot should support the Patriot Act. Define patriotism properly, and it becomes clear. Who cares what party came up with it, or pushes it to extremes? Both parties are run by shortsighted dunderheads. That's being kind and greatly assumes their intentions are honorable.
I agree with you totally and learning a lot from your comments..we are being groomed for the Antichrist to step in and take over..never understood until now how it could all come together! Btw I checked again on my Facebook page to see if anyone else saw the message..they didn't..one guy said I must have a virus because no one should see that message unless it's hooked up to a device to receive it..no to both!!
Dolores, if you get caught in the partisan bickering you may miss the point that the surveillance system has been built by both parties. the last election squelched the ideas of indl rights as lunacy and quackery, or whatever word they could come up... or "racism" or something.... while both parties ran candidates with identical platforms -- one wanted forced healthcare, the other had implemented it, one wanted more abortions, the other had implemented it, one was for ending the right of fair trial, the other had ended it, one wanted gay marriage, the other had implemented it.
remember, SP ran with McCain who has been doing photoshoots with Al Queda that was given international funding through Turkey to enter in and disrupt society in Sy. (MSM) The libs are ok with it because they think its Oh's baby... you see both sides doing the same thing.
the world is looking darker and darker, and many are falling away (suddenly pastors are saying mormonism is Christianity because they follow G Beck, silence on Christian persection) -- but the light of Christ will shine brighter.
Sarah Palin made a remark on a video yesterday, that I said on my first comment on this forum, a week ago before the whistleblower. She said if the surviellance of NS A is working why didn't they catch two pot smoking boys when they were warned..back in 2007 first time!

No one would have that info but nsa. According to the their thoughts "Just because we're recording your calls is no reason to suspect we're actually listening to any of them." Anyone see this for the nonsense it is? We seem always distracted from the real issues. It isn't whether they are listening to the conversations, it is they shouldn't be recording them without cause in the first place. The American people are not group criminal suspects.
"- chief defends surveillance, says helped prevent terror plots more than 50 times since 9/11"
Well by golly, he said so, must be true. See the distraction? Even if it is more than numbers pulled out of a hat, it is irrelevant to the issue of monitoring intra-American private communication.
Like I said, Miss Alabama is wrong. Young, gullible, and wrong. Well versed in public education, I would guess.
Yes,he also said that we will be hearing a lot more of this type thing now that the " cat's out of the bag" so to speak..and it is very troubling indeed..I wondered the same thing when I first read the message because of the way it happened and the timing..these are scary mind games they are playing and it will work at times with some.
they are trying to get us to accept this as normal life to have everything in life surveilled and recorded. why anyone would want to create and live in a world like that is beyond me. meanwhile atrocities continue... the syrian rebels who are not even syrian. silence from the Christian community.... very troubling to say the least.
