Pope reportedly confirms 'gay lobby'
Pope Francis has confirmed there is a "gay lobby" inside the Vatican, a Catholic website reported.

Reports of such a group in the Curia have circulated for months and may have been a consideration in Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI's retirement, CNN reported.

The Curia is the Vatican's bureaucracy.

A Chilean website, Reflection and Liberation, which discusses liberation theology, first reported Francis' comments, though CNN said a Vatican spokesman refused to comment on the report. ...

Chris, and there was a link to the John J. Report on Sexual Abuse in the American Catholic Church in the first Wikipedia article. If one were a Catholic they should never let a priest around a child

Thanks, real Jim. I'll check out the link later. I have read some things about the secret abuse of nuns around the world.

Chris, there was an article that was mentioned in the ex-Catholic Journal, from an English newspaper that doesn't seem to be any longer on the WEB. I not only mentioned that yesterday, in the thread that was pertinent to the topic, but I'll pass it more directly to you now, The Harlotry Of Rome, which is really about the abuse of nuns. Other articles on that site, I won't vouch for, but this looks like an accurate reproduction of that article.

Yes, Chris, I'm the real Jim, and not Faux Jimmy. By the way I should mention if you want to avoid Red Hot Preaching in the Chicago area, and are near Hammond, Indiana, try out, Christian Fellowship Church tomorrow!

You might have noticed another story about His Unholiness Fran, "Pope Francis Told Nuns: Don't Be Old Maids." Now, I'm not going to give the URL for that because he didn't say they should become normal and have real husbands, and not a make believe one, Christ, whose usually a baby and too young to have a wife anyway, as He is often portrayed by the Romish Church. But,

Ex-Catholic Journal wrote:
The taking of permanent vows is a great danger for young women. A person does not know if they are gifted by God for permanent singleness. Like the sex scandals that have rocked the Catholic priesthood, the sexual abuse of women in Catholic religious orders is a serious problem. It is compounded by their vows of obedience and stability.

I think Jews across the world read the exact same passage from the Torah every Sunday (?) The passage read right before Prime Minister Rabin's(sp?) assasination was very interesting. His assassination took place shortly after he claimed that the Bible isn't Israel's property deed, or something like that.

What I mean is, that they could have preached the same sermon on Saturday and a different one on.....oh well.

Thanks for the correction, however I would still have to say that you are NOT going to hear the gospel being preached by a priest in a RCC. Even you said you read in a tract. So, the onus is on SteveR to show where a RCC priest is preaching the gospel in a RCC. Surely you can find it on tv or you tube.

I understand how their error sickens you, as it does me. The Vatican(St Peters?) even has a necropolis with artwork showing Helios as a 'christ.'
To different levels, there are liars in all the denominations many near the top. All Im saying is lets not throw the baby out with the bath water.
There are Christians in the RCC, they do preach the Gospel, and the Bishop of Rome does have legitimate Christian authority and will answer for what he does

Father Malachi Martin.
Not heard of this bestselling author, Chris, but he's debated on the web, for eg.

"Fr. Malachi Martin was a Catholic priest who wrote several books claiming that Judeo-Masons had infiltrated the Catholic Church. He claimed that John XXIII and Paul VI were Freemasons, that Cardinal Siri was elected in 1958 only to be threatened by the Freemasons if he accepted, that John Paul I was murdered by a Freemasonic Cardinal, etc. His most famous and horrifying claim, however, was that there was a satanic enthronement ceremony that took place in the Vatican in the 1960s, following the election of Paul VI. This ceremony was described in his book ‚ÄúWindswept House‚ÄĚ, which is perhaps the most popular of his writings. He was going to publish another book that would further detail satan‚Äôs infiltration of the Church, it was entitled ‚ÄúPrimacy: How the Institutional Roman Catholic Church became a Creature of the New World Order. However, Fr. Martin died in 1999 after falling down the stairs at his home, and thus, the book was never completed. Some believe that he was murdered by a Freemason who wanted to make sure that the book was not finished."
