Another Gosnell? New Horror in Texas
Just days after a Philadelphia jury found abortionist Kermit Gosnell guilty of the murder of three newborn children and the negligent death of a patient, evidence of similar atrocities has surfaced in Houston, Texas.

Three former employees of abortionist Douglas Karpen have come forward to give their testimony in a video interview with Life Dynamics.

LifeNews.com has even published photographs taken by the employees of babies killed at the clinic. The photos are horrifying and reveal the absolute brutality of abortion. ...

The Scriptures are explicitly (perhaps not implicitly) silent on this question. Breath easy Chris, you are not charged with judging men and babies, that is Christ's position. For us, worry about this ... don't murder people

Steve, it is God's will that the elect are baptised when God brings them to faith and repentance. Baptism shows visibly and symbolically the inward work of God in their hearts.

With election taking place before the foundation of the world, how is it some people who believe in election actually deny it when it comes to newborn babes? No-one knows if each one is elect or not.

The only sign of election is the evidence of grace in that person's life. In other words, when God does a work in a person, quickening, enlightening, bringing forth faith and a repentant heart, a sorrow for sin and a desire to serve the Living God, then you can safely say that the person is one of God's elect sheep. Until that happens, no-one knows, and therefore baptism should be withheld until the evidence shows itself.

BTW, there is NO "crowd that says children can't go to heaven".

In that, you are very much mistaken.

Jer 1:5...thanks for the extra verse, Steve. I really don't know how anyone can deny that they go to Heaven. Deut 1:39 didn't make a lot of sense to me either as far as the topic goes, but the speaker quoted it as evidence so I thought you guys would apply it somehow.
By the way, I'm liking the new side of you...I've been following your conversations with Lisa as well. She has been sharp at times but you rolled with it each time.

Anyway, the conversation grew legs and became an argument as to whether or not aborted babies, delivered babies, and young children go straight to Heaven. To my surprise, several said they were condemned and go straight to hell. This never sat well and what a horrible thought. Anyway, I was listening to a quick clip of something just yesterday which addressed this. Can anyone who believes babies and young children don't go to Heaven comment on II Sam 12:21 and Deut 1:39? Maybe there are others. Anyone can comment. This has bothered me since that dark discussion when some said they are all condemn
Looks like your questions go beyond whether Looney Tunes is a Disney or WB product Chris. Dont believe the crowd that says children cant go to heaven.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Deut 1:39 deals with a future inheritence.. not sure where you want to go with that, 2 Sam 12 David says he will join his child when he dies...thus the child is saved

The ELECT are created to be ELECT. They were ELECT before the foundation of the earth was laid, no believer Baptism needed.

Some time ago, while commenting in an abortion thread, I said something to the effect, "those poor innocent babies". Well, this ignited a small firestorm as to whether or not babies and small children go straight to Heaven. I had people posting who don't normally post saying that they go to hell, they are not innocent, and one lady talking about how when she looks at her children, she considers how wicked and depraved they are, which I thought was odd for a mother. I know we are all born into sin, but when I called them innocent, I was speaking to their lack of sin at such a young age. Sin nature...yes. Will they sin, given the opportunity...yes. Have they sinned yet...no.
