Christian education is under attack in America as never before. Yesterday on this website, we highlighted the plight of the Romeikes, a German Christian family who is seeking asylum in America because the German government forbids their homeschool instruction. The Obama Administration is siding with the German government and its view of homeschooling, and they are seeking to deport this family who wants to educate their children in accord with God’s Word. If the U.S. Attorney General succeeds in denying their asylum, it may have chilling ramifications for religious and educational liberties in the United States.
Today, we bring your attention to another attack on Christian education. A Christian K–12 school in South Carolina, with dedicated and highly qualified Christian teachers,1 has come under vicious attack by atheists. Why? Because one of its instructors, a fourth-grade teacher, tested her...
Ken Ham is a pioneer in science and Bible education for America. He stays with the authority of God's word. You may or may not agree with everything he says, but he has courage and dignity, and stays with the Bible, which is what we all should do.
David in Virginia wrote: Ken Ham slams again--IT'S NOT NEWS As sympathetic as I am, I find Ken very political. He does not receive abuse in the manner taught by our Lord and Peter. I have NEVER heard him bless the one who curses. And please, SermonAudio, every time he slams someone for attacking Christians, and every time he slams a Christian for compromise, it's NOT NEWS.
Bless? How? That they prosper in their evil design? Or did the lord mean, mean them no harm but rather that they would be spiritually awakened etc. And if the latter, does he have to voice that every time to convince you that he does indeed desire to bless them?
Thread after thread, news item after news item, media report after media report, I find it amazing how accurate the Bible is concerning the end of days. Living in this world and being finite beings; knowing only life and death, beginnings and endings, and only being able to relate to everyday things on a physical level; only being able to grasp that which we can see, touch, smell, and taste, it is so easy to lose sight of the fact that we are spiritual beings. The real, eternal, me and you are simply travelling in this temporary body that will be shed one day. Upon this bodys demise, our eternal spirits are released from the confines of the physical and we begin eternity in one of two places. I often wonder if born again Christians are escorted by angels, and the damned, by demons, to the eternal home, or if our spirits will be drawn somehow, automatically, to our destination. Anyway, while some fret and are alarmed by the things that go on around us each day, and while some bite their fingernails, wondering what will happen tomorrow, I look forward to the fullfillment of prophesy and witnessing the beginnings of the end.
