Shocking Footage: Americans Ordered Out Of Homes At Gunpoint By SWAT teams

Shocking footage has emerged from Friday’s lockdown in Boston, where police, federal agents, national guard troops and SWAT teams enforced door to door searches of everyone’s home within twenty blocks as the entire city was placed under orders to stay off the streets.

The story floated in the mainstream media that the door to door searches were conducted with the voluntary consent of the residents of Watertown is clearly false. 9000+ Police locked down an entire city and went in with full force, with armored vehicles and combat gear, all to search for an injured 19 year old kid who turned out to be cowering in someone’s back yard.

While armies of police roamed around people’s homes and private property, Public transportation was shut down, businesses were forced to close, and a no-fly zone was enacted over Boston in an unprecedented show of force. ...

I hope there are some lawsuits over this.
This was illegal and unconstitutional.

When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty.
Thomas Jefferson

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Benjamin Franklin

Thank you Jason L. . You are 110% right. It's just a shame people are so blind to the facts. They will finally believe it when the Gestapo comes bashing in their door. Then it's too late.

This desensitization has been moving along throughout the country for years. The boldness we have come upon in this case reveals who drinks the Kool-aid and who isn't.

About 6 years ago, the little city of Palo, Iowa flooded. "Mandatory" evacuations were broadcast and my brother and his family were ordered by state police to leave their home. Since they weren't in any danger from the flood, my brother declined. Shortly thereafter, a SWAT team started from the first house on the street and forcibly removed any resident who had stayed. Then they were told to tie some sort of red something to their front door if they had guns in the house. ???

We regularly have drunk driver check points, twice a year in our city. They search your car, being friendly, joking with you and everyone thinks it's great. And before anyone jumps on the "cops need to protect everyone" (which actually IS NOT their job), my brother was a cop in Iowa at the time of the flood. Sooooo.... It goes much higher.

I would love to read some actual comments from the infamous emoticon poster who has been making the rounds using mad, sad, happy, and glad faces in leu of words. Come on now...why are you happy? Why are you sad? What has made you angry? What's your answer? What's your opinion? : )

Why does every foreigner say that? If you got an issue with the United States then don't come here. Your opinion don't matter. The last thing America needs is another piers Morgan .

Fordwich,
Are you really telling me that shutting down a whole city and going house to house in military grade uniforms with fully automatic weapons to look for a teenage kid is not overkill? The whole gun control argument does not hold water here. By that logic we should shut down Sears, Target, and all other stores that sell pressure cookers and nails so we can "protect" the masses. Context Fordwich...context.

1517 I think you are over reacting here. This video seems to reveal an isolated case of police in action protecting themselves and simply making sure that the people in the house are "made safe" for the investigation.
Also you must remember that this is America where there are gun shops with assault rifles for sale to anybody on virtually every street corner. Therefore the mind set of police is to protect in all anticipated dangerous situations.
When a resident comes out of the house unarmed, and it is obvious he or she is not Tsarnaev, and they try to lower their hands, why are they yelled at to keep them up? Making sure the people in the house are "made safe" is nonsense. It was clearly a power play. "I've got a big gun and you will do what I say and the law be d***ed." Not acceptable.
