President Obama has many supporters in Hollywood, but Pat Boone is definitely not one of them.
The 78-year-old actor and singer went on Fox Business News on Wednesday bashing Obama’s politics, calling him a “Marxist” and “socialist.”
Boone was originally brought on the news program to discuss his opinions on the deficit and sequestration but ended up comparing the president’s ideals to that of Saul Alinsky.
“He is following his playbook, which is Saul Alinksy’s 'Rules for Radicals.' This is the guy that trained him to be a community organizer, a Marxist, a socialist, a progressive, who wrote the rules for doing what Mr. Obama is doing now as president,” said Boone, who was cut off by Fox News Anchor Neil Cavuto, who told viewers that their views differ dramatically....
1. Republicans put in provisions for indefnt det in NDAA, 2012, that was signed December 31, 2011. At the time, Feinstein likened it to incarceration of Japanese in WWII. The Republican Candidate for President, Romney endorsed the provisions for arrst without trial during campaign.
Graham (R) said that it makes the nation more safe, and if they want a lawyer they will not get one.
2. The Smith (D) - Amash (R) Amendment would have eliminated the offending sections from NDAA. Rep's voted 219 "no" and Dem's voted 163 "yes" for the amendment. GOP defeated it in May, 2012.
Ron Paul (R) said on the floor that a republic cannot exist if military can arrest citizens and put them in secret prisons.
Heritage Foundation said that the NDAA does not affect US Citizens. Conservatives are supposed to want this.
3. the court case was brought by a former NY journalist -- not conservative leaders.
"The Feinstein amendment to the 2013 NDAA does NOT protect you from indefinite detention without charge or trial. In fact, it explicitly permits such detention so long as the detention is approved by an Act of Congress . . . such as the 2012 NDAA."

Following the passage of the NDAA, various proposals have been offered to clarify the detainee provisions. One example, H.R. 3676, sponsored by U.S. Representative Jeff Landry of Louisiana, would amend the NDAA "to specify that no U.S. citizen may be detained against his or her will without all the rights of due process."

on September 12, 2012, Judge Forrest issued a permanent injunction,(against NDAA detention rules) but this was appealed by the Obama Administration

I sure would like to know where he was a year ago when the end of rhgt to fair trial was written into the NDAA by Republicans and passed by the Senate with 93 votes. Obama is not the one passing the bills. Its the Republicans. Can hardly give a man power to detain your neighbor without trial and then complain that he has that power. It is not only Boone who has identified this flaw in Obama.

Socialism is a stepping stone to Communism and it appears there are many new voters coming to America who stem from the communist background and will vote Marxism into administration. This is why Obama and his Democrats love Big Government and want to tell you what to think, say and do.

Ah, when did Mr. Boone become this great political and financial intellect? as a member of The Church of Christ, q.v., The Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement, he has certainly not has shown the best thoughts on religious matters. I don't pay any attention to the likes of Dave Letterman and I see there is no better reason to pay attention to Mr. Boone--even if one might agree with his political ideas. Being a celebrity doesn't give you any greater insight into a subject, unless your celebrity because you are an expert on that subject.

Some like me do not support obsma. Some like me did not vote for obama. And some like me sign every petition against obama and what him and his regime stand for.
