Rome conclave: Cardinals fail to elect pope in first vote

Cardinals of the Catholic Church have failed to elect a new pope on their first day in the Vatican conclave.

Black smoke rising from a chimney above the Sistine Chapel indicated that their ballot had been inconclusive.

The 115 cardinal-electors will vote four times daily until two-thirds can agree on a single candidate.

Yes, it is the hand of God, the one who picked the latest Unholiness, remember God even picked Nebuchadnezzar! q.v., The Believer and Politics. Considering the Romish Church is much more of a political institution than a religious one, Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No. (PDF).

This shouldn't be surprising, what is dangerous is this pagan organization does plan to evangelize more, remember the bishop of Lincoln was taken in, during one of these evangelization periods. This is very sad since he did have a chance to be a Christian, but one of the snares out there is The New Catholic Evangelization. I made more comments about it the thread, Pope Calls On Bishops To Revive Christian Faith, but The Changing Face of Roman Catholicism (PDF) is a danger to Christians everywhere.

Ah Chris!
Webster's 1913 Dictionary wrote:

So, this child's answer isn't surprising about his Unholiness.
Geneva Bible Commentary wrote:
I Corinthians 4:9:
For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a {g} spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
(g) He that thinks that Paul and the pope are alike, who lyingly boasts that he is his successor, let him compare the delicacies of the popish court with Paul's state as we see it here.
I remember in the film, "The Shoes of the Fisherman," where Anthony Quinn was playing a new Pope gave away the wealth of the RCC. Admittedly this new Pope with his so-called low-cost living practices, may be one who might at least think about it -- don't bet on it. The Pope and the Papacy.

I know this is precisely what Rome teaches but it was a little strange to me to actually hear it.
Yes, you remind me of:

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 KJV
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The Falkland Islanders have chosen to remain British not English.

I suspect we will see murdering papists elevated to First Minister in Northern Ireland before the status of the Falkland Islands changes.

Most likely, this one wont be around for long whether he dies in unusual circumstances, resigns or see out his days as antichrist-in-chief.

VATICAN CITY (AP) -- Argentine Jorge Bergoglio has been elected pope, the first ever from the Americas and the first from outside Europe in more than a millennium. He chose the name Pope Francis.

Jorge Bergoglio was born in Buenos Aires, one of the five children of an Italian railway worker and his wife. After studying at the seminary in Villa Devoto, he entered the Society of Jesus on March 11, 1958. Bergoglio obtained a licentiate in philosophy from the Colegio Máximo San José in San Miguel, and then taught literature and psychology at the Colegio de la Inmaculada in Santa Fe, and the Colegio del Salvador in Buenos Aires. He was ordained to the priesthood on December 13, 1969, by Archbishop Ramón José Castellano. He attended the Philosophical and Theological Faculty of San Miguel, a seminary in San Miguel. Bergoglio attained the position of novice master there and became professor of theology.

Impressed with his leadership skills, the Society of Jesus promoted Bergoglio and he served as provincial for Argentina from 1973 to 1979. He was transferred in 1980 to become the rector of the seminary in San Miguel where had had studied. He served in that capacity until 1986. He completed his doctoral dissertation in Germany and returned to his homeland to serve as confessor and s

Are you somekind of blind religious genius?

Why would I ask such a thing?

Hmmmmmm, it might be because by the grace of God I've had the opportunity to read Revelation 17, 18, and 19 and think upon how God Himself is at enmity with the RCC, which isn't His Church btw, and judges her in His time.

Oops! Would you be accusing Holy God of having spiritual sons and daughters in the camp of atheists?

Looks like you are in serious need of repenting and learning and choosing to love the Truth instead of going with whatever men imagine it to be for themselves.

UPS, you're correct in that won't suddenly repent,
Webster's 1913 Dictionary wrote:
3. (Theol.) To be sorry for sin as morally evil, and to seek forgiveness; to cease to love and practice sin.
Except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish. Luke xii. 3.
The Church of Rome Steps Into Apostasy (PDF) and it isn't going to reverse it's course. Roman Catholic Authority (PDF) is completely man-made and these priests in red, (q.v. The Scandal of the Catholic Priesthood) aren't going to change their ways. The only way the would and perhaps even could is not by Staying in Hope of Changing the Church (PDF), but by making a Pilgrimage From Rome.

The atheist and the Catholic and the Mormon and the Jehovah's Witness shall all alike go to the place which burns with fire and brimstone, an eternity of suffering and regret.

It is not possible to be a Roman Catholic, holding to Roman Catholic doctrine, and be finally saved. That is a deception, as proven from God's own words. Let me repeat, NO Roman Catholic will be saved, except they repent and believe the gospel. And I say to all Catholics, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..." Acts 16:31.

Vitriol? Not at all, Steve. You cannot fool me with your subterfuge and smart words. The RCC is a deception from its inception, and the Lord Jesus Christ says to expose deceivers and antichrists. Are you here to make some ecumenical converts? Not a chance!

My favorite quote was
"Instead, we want to help Christians everywhere comprehend that a healthy and gospel-proclaiming Catholic body greatly benefits all churches—and the cause of Christ."
It is indeed in ALL Christians best interest that the RCC continue to reform and move away from the plagues of the past. Some apostates would rather the RCC increase their mistakes so they can glory in the gossip, but I would say that number is shrinking
