Radical Leftist Group Claims Right-wing Threat Growing
The Southern Poverty Law Center, a leftist “civil rights” outfit that has been criticized and ridiculed from across the political spectrum, issued its latest “Intelligence Report” about the supposed threat posed by “Patriot” groups and other right-wing “extremists.” Employing its usual deceptive tactics in a transparent but failed effort to lump Christians and constitutionalists in with racists and terrorists, the SPLC claimed the number of “anti-government extremist” organizations had reached “record” levels — and that the increase was due in large part to the fact that President Obama is half black.

No, I didn't. SPLC, has condemned groups for their religious beliefs, and not for actions they would take--which means one has to watch closely what SPLC says, but the outfit that complained about them shouldn't referenced a good article the SPLC had about The Year in Hate and Extremism.

I don't think they might be labelled left-wing nuts, though some of their categorizations have been way off, I'm surprised SA didn't point out the radical right wing group, the NRA the hirlings of the gun lobby isn't given the same label. You know the group that lied about Israel? US gun backers cite Israeli school security and from Forbes Magazine, Israel Looks at Tougher Gun Control Laws.
Unfortunately, Nebr. Unicameral has State Senators who do little or no thinking for themselves and mouth the nonsense of the NRA just this month. What is even worse, I wonder if some of them are unwittingly falling for the nonsense from a right-wing nut group, Posse Comitatus (organization)?
