Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo have written and filed an amicus brief in support of same-sex marriage in California.
The two collaborated on the brief and filed it on the day of the Supreme Court's deadline in the case of Hollingsworth v. Perry, which challenges the law against marriage equality known as Proposition 8.
In the brief, Kluwe and Ayanbadejo argue that athletes have a good deal of influence -- for better or worse -- and they wanted to express their support for the right of gays to marry legally....
These guys are given preferential treatment all through seminary (school and college). People have been wanting to be around them and hear them preach all their lives. They are only doing what they've been doing for years just now it's on a national stage. Just walk down the street and you will see people wearing their mantles (jerseys) and on Sunday people come to their churches (stadiums) so why should they not speak up and preach? It's what the people want!
Unbelievable . What do you say to this? Stop watching one of the last mans sports because gayness is creeping in ? These guys need to shut up and just play football . I'm sick of this lifestyle penetrating everything . From families to recreational activities they gotta have something to say . God forbid if they don't , they might start hyperventilating and crying and fainting. What a sick sick lifestyle . But let's try to justify sodomy and make it normal. I'm gonna go throw up.
