Christians dubbed threat to 'national security'

The Libyan government has now arrested seven people for preaching the gospel and tortured at least one, claiming the missionaries are a threat to national security.

Morningstar News reported that among the seven arrested are at least three Egyptians, in addition to a Swedish-American missionary, a South African and a South Korean.

Middle East analyst Raymond Ibrahim reported that the leader of the Libyan security forces, Hussein Bin Hmeid, claimed the missionary activities threaten Libyaâ€™s â€œnational security.â€

Bin Hmeid tried to justify the Islamic ban on free speech, Ibrahim said, noting proselytizing is forbidden in Libya. ...

Congratulations American Christians for persecuting your own .... now let's keep it up and spread the sorrows across Africa with our "helpers" that take down those "evil" regimes and replace it with "democracy". ongoing mission. Good job American church for paying attention and caring about the persecuted church of the ME and Af. As we hear their stories, let's look good and hard at ourselves in the mirror.

Lord please strengthen, protect , bless, and deliver our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Middle East , Asia, Africa, Europe , and at home ,who stand up for Jesus no matter what it costs them. Thank you for these ones whom we should follow their example .
