DOJ to Federal Judge: We Can Force Your Wife to Violate Her Religion
While presenting an oral argument in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia last fall, a lawyer for the U.S. Justice Department told a federal judge that the Obama administration believed it could force the judge’s own wife—a physician—to act against her religious faith in the conduct of her medical practice.
The assertion came in the case of Tyndale House Publishers v. Sebelius, a challenge to the Obama administration’s regulation requiring health-care plans to cover sterilizations, contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs....

Not only have we allowed it we add to the problem. i.e. two prime examples that come to mind 1) churches standing in line to become 501C3s'. The church never needed to nor should have bought into this fascade. 2) Concealed weapons permits. Why go ask the govt for a permit to do something the Constitution already guarantees?

What is not stated out-loud but is quite clearly implied is..."we can force the judge's wife to act against her faith because we are your god now."

Wouldn't it have been good to bring the pompous lawyer down to Earth if the judge said "If you try, I'll put you in prison for violation of the 1st Amendment"?
Like I said, us govt, the biggest organized crime syndicate in the world . It's tyrannical, violated every amendment and constitutional law and we sit here and let it continue to grow like cancer of the bowels. Our votes don't count, we sign petitions only to see them disregarded, write councilmen, congressmen, legislators , and senators who refuse to stand up for we the people. So this story and al the others do not surprise me at all.

What would have happened if that lawyer for the DOJ had refused to defend a policy that was indefensible?
This is the type of tyrannical insanity that the obama admin gets away with. In their universe, there are no fixed rights, particularly for the rapidly diminishing Christian majority. From the transcript, it seems evident that this lawyer for DOJ was forced to defend a policy even he knew was indefensible.
