How Dutch legalizing of prostitution, drugs, & euthanasia is working out

The Netherlands, that once-Calvinist land, has gone farther than just about any other country in legalizing “victimless crimes,” such as prostitution, drug use, and euthanasia. Now that country is facing the unintended consequences, including an upsurge in organized crime, social squalor, and a deluge of sex tourists, drug tourists, and death tourists (who only buy a one-way ticket).

From Julie Bindel, Why even Amsterdam doesn’t want legal brothels » The Spectator:

In 2000 the Dutch government decided to make it even easier for pimps, traffickers and punters by legalising the already massive and highly visible brothel trade. Their logic was as simple as it was deceptive: to make things safer for everyone. Make it a job like any other. Once the women were liberated from the underworld, the crooks, drug dealers and people traffickers would drift away. ...

The Dutch certainly aren't perfect as the article SA more than ably points out, and I would add, Rabbis reminded of Nazi laws by Dutch legislation. This also points out that not everything is coming up roses in the Land of Tulips.

The Netherlands not only has trouble with the above with Muhammadans as well. They are also types that should be sent back home, at least the ones who won't at least put on the veneer of being civilized.

One of the better politicians from the Netherlands was in Australia pointing out the Inadequacy of Islam and then an ABC website hacked following Geert Wilders coverage. You might remember that Geert was famous for a short film, Dutch legislator won't be charged for anti-Koran film

Ah, more people, are beginning to realize that Islam is a very intolerant and anti-intellectual religion, "If They [Muslims] Had Gotten Rid of the Punishment for Apostasy, Islam Would Not Exist Today" :: Gatestone Institute

So, I hope the Dutch keep pointing out,The Incompatibility of Islam with Western Civilization[/

The comment below was supposed to be posted on the Clint Eastwood and republican backing of gay marriage . Sorry . As for amsterdam , I was there as a young guy when I played in punk bands touring. I hope the Netherlands changes their ways. Get back to God

What you say is true, Mr b, but the Netherlands are somewhat east of America.
