Marriage ban for priests should be reviewed by next pope, says cardinal
Britain's most senior Catholic has suggested Catholic priests should be able to marry and have children, saying the demand for celibacy was not of "divine origin".

In one of the most significant breaks with Catholic orthodoxy, Cardinal Keith O'Brien said many priests found it "very difficult to cope" with the celibate life and suggested lifting that ban could soon happen in the wider church.

The cardinal suggested that the next pope could review the marriage ban for priests. Marriage is allowed in some cases within the church already. The English Catholic church has accepted married former Anglican priests, under a policy introduced in 2011 by the present pope, Benedict XVI. ...

Isn't interesting that this red hat had to resign and isn't going to be able to vote for the next Unholiness?
Keith O'Brian wrote:
We all know and I think we all acknowledge that sometimes, if someone has erred in some way or another, it doesn't stop their judgement in other matters being perfectly clear and whether or not they're deserving of the right to take part in a papal election.

Calls for UK Cardinal to be excluded from pontiff vote--and an American one as well, (See transcript)

So, red-hat Mahony will still be going, but this Scottish one isn't.

The RCC appears to have mastered all the doctrines of devils. I would be surprised, if they were to ultimately overturn this one.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

A real bishop is to be the husband of one wife...

1 Timothy 3:2 - A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

They should definately be allowed to marry but I have to wonder how much this would even relieve their lusts and crimes. The reason I wonder is because most of them seem to be homosexuals who prefer children.
I see it like this: Even though they are not allowed to marry, they could ease their lusting, should they choose, by having secret relationships, picking u on strippers, or whatever. Even though they have many outlets in which they could easily satisfy themselves outside of the church, they choose to molest and rape young boys within the church.
So...hmmmm.
