If you enjoy doomsaying and ecclesiastical bad news, then Christ Our Reconciler: The Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization (IVP Books, 2012) is not for you. I just have to wonder at articles like this one. I wonder how it is that anyone who preaches and understands the gospel can believe that they are going to "attract " people into belief in Christ. How many people did Noah get saved ...or how bout Lot? The Word (Christ) is proclaimed we being His witnesses. It is His job to add to the elect. This is why there are so many out there that claim to know Christ...but He does not know them.
