Jon Huntsman Backs Gay Marriage, Describes It as a 'Conservative Cause'
Jon Huntsman, former governor of Utah who unsuccessfully ran as a moderate Republican for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012, has recently spoken out in favor of same-sex marriage, arguing that conservatives must support same-sex marriage because it is "the right thing to do," and also because it will help them stay relevant in the political arena.
"The marketplace of ideas will render us irrelevant, and soon, if we are not honest about our time and place in history," Huntsman, a mormon, wrote in an op-ed in The American Conservative on Thursday.
"Conservatives should start to lead again and push their states to join the nine others that allow all their citizens to marry," Huntsman continued. "There is nothing conservative about denying other Americans the ability to forge that same relationship with the person they love."...
Huntsman says the marketplace of ideas will render us irrelevant if we do not change. Talk about somebody who fails to stand on principle. He forgets who determines the market ultimately. Yes..jon. God' Market will render you irrelevant.

We know that as in the days of Noah so shall it be when the Son of Man comes, and those were days in which every imagination of their heart was evil. May God save his soul and transform his mind. Huntsman is not a conservative, but a RINO preaching the god of relevance to conservatives. IOW a loser. It's probably not a very Christian thing to do to call him an idiot, so I won't.
For some reason I feel these idiot politicians feel being a Christian is something of a pastime. So when did serving GOD ever in touch with those wanting to do the right thing. So just go along to get along. Ok so society wants to start marrying animals is it the right thing to do because the general population says so.
