I like your thought process on this issue. Here is how it works in my mind; they talk about gay marriage instead of the lifestyle that leads to it. They talk about late term abortions instead of abortions themselves. In other words, a baby in the last stages of a pregnancy is a human, but the one just conceived isn’t. They talk about radical feminism (that on the left) instead of the evils of any form of feminism.
When they do it this way, then the undiscerning only sees the issue presented instead of the root or cause of these issues. This paragraph mirrors what I see from all forms of media and our society and it has infiltrated the professing church to a great degree.
Very insightful. It is so grievous that so few people seem to see the dire implications of granting legal status to so-called "gay marriage." What an amazingly effective campaign Satan has waged on our allegedly "Christian" nation, to convince so many that our marriage laws are inherently unjust and discriminatory and need to be changed. How can so many people be so blind to the fact that this is a Satanic attack on the gospel itself and on the Judeo-Christian cultural heritage of our nation? How can so many fail to see the implications for free speech and freedom of religion if the legal definition of marriage is changed? Future generations of young people who will be subjected to aggressive homofascist brainwashing in the public schools and be forced to put up with the "crazy" demands of sexually perverted classmates who want to take same-sex dates to the prom and cross-dress for graduation. Countless Christians will be sued, fined, and excluded from many jobs for their refusal to comply with the corrupt values of an increasingly pagan culture. There is NO MORE IMPORTANT ISSUE that our nation faces today than to preserve the family by saying NO to every effort to change the good, just, and wholesome laws which reserve the legal right to marriage to heterosexual couples.
yes, this "theology of the body" is virtually non-existent in the evangelical or "protestant" (lack of better word) church and is sorely, sorely needed.
our approach has been to take on the strategy of the predarwinists, who said that everything is chemical, add to it that we are degenerating and Christ will rapture us from the effects of how we live, and then we just kill everything off that might make us sick.
through study of the body, we find, that the human body is dependent on other organisms to survive.
in other words, chemical lobotomizing everything does not lead to life.. but death.

Clearly in the spiritual battle Satan has taken over the hearts of politicians and bureaucrats in society and also poisoned the churches with Liberalism. Non-Christians become Liberals in the churches like the bishops in the Anglican/Episcopalian false witness.
The battle is continuing and Satan's forces have been provided with influential positions such as President of USA and Prime Minister of UK, alongside other such positions in western nations, the UN and the EU.
