Gay, transgender band breaks barriers in Christian music
The bios of the musicians who make up the band Micah’s Rule read like many Christian artists. Grew up singing in the church. Preacher’s son. Then became a preacher. In many bands. Degrees in music and ministry. Recorded some albums. Toured with Christian music legends. Even struggled with their faith along the way.
What their bios don’t mention outright might make them one of the rarest recent talents to record in Nashville, Tenn. The three musicians of Micah’s Rule are an openly gay man, transgender woman and a lesbian....
this is such a generation ready for tyranny. it cannot rule itself. it cannot plant a seed. it cannot stand for justice, and its making itself physically and spiritually sicker. previous comments are great... relativism taking over science. not that science is dead but agendas are too big to fail... it is an experience we have all had. "doc, this procedure is not necessary and 70 girls have died this year from it, why should we do this?" and the answer? "because I'm the expert, and I know better than you. just follow whatever I say."
and so relativism is followed by authoritarianism and idolatry.
the contra to that is self-rule, the old ideas of journalism (the basis of the 4 gospels), being well-read and well-educated and putting everything through the Word of God first.
What do we expect when we live in a post-modern world where we define our own "truths," cherry pick the Bible, and redesign God in our own images.
I noticed that there are no agendas to drive post-modern thought into the sciences like structural, aeronautical, and electrical engineering, medicine, and physics. Perhaps because they would immediately show the absurdity of the post modern mind.
Wow...gay evangelical Christians. I jist don't get it. Here these people are teaching the ignorant that God says gay is okay...He loves everyone...co.e as you are; no need to change. He's too good to condemn anyone, just be a good person...God has changed; His word is obsolete. ..it's a brave new world...we've evolved...God has evolved.

There are groupings of so called "Gay" Christians worldwide who view one of their main objectives as rewriting or re-interpreting those portions of Gods word which condemn their perversion.

It's not so much the band but the slew of Christians in attendance. Why are they going?

I care not to have a following. I care to have revival in the church. And if and when it comes, it will bring with it a serious disinterest in so-called "Christian rock." I wasted away six years of my life playing in a rock and roll band and am familiar enough with its inner workings to know that I don't want it in my church, with or without "Christian" lyrics.

Sexual immodesty, at least since the advent of Amy Grant, has been a by-product of CCM. That is no longer the case. Now it's sexual license. This day was inevitable, and it could clearly be seen since the "coming out" of Ray Boltz and Jennifer Knapp. That "God accepts me as I am" attitude which prevailed within the "Jesus Movement" of the 1960's (where CCM was birthed) is now reaching its fullest fruition. Open, shameless sodomy in the church. It's in the music! Like it or not, it's in the music! And through so-called "Christian Rap" and "holy hip-hop", a door has been opened to the neo-Marxist teachings of liberation theology in the reform camp. The attitude of the Christian is that we "hate the works of those who turn aside" (Ps. 101), not give them a fair and charitable hearing in Christ's holy church. If this trend continues then the day will come when in it will be considered outright sin in evangelical circles to speak out against sodomy, and hateful to declare Christ and His Gospel as the ONLY way to God, with no other way in existance at all. While my heart breaks for my children to have to bear up under this ever widening apostasy, I would be lying if I said that I'm not hoping that I'd be called home of the Lord before these things come to pass.
