Some Indiana parents, teacher want ‘traditional prom’ to ban gays, lesbians
Several students and parents in Indiana are campaigning to have a local high school throw a "traditional prom" that bans gays and lesbians from attending.
The group, which also includes a teacher, met at the Sullivan First Christian Church on Sunday to discuss why Sullivan High School in Sullivan, Ind., should bar gays from its annual event.
"We don't agree with it and it's offensive to us," special education teacher Diana Medley told WTWO-TV of the group's views on homosexuality.
You've gotta give these folks credit for at least trying to change a policy that is offensive to Christians. I'm a homeschooler and i agree the easiest way to get rid of the problem is to homeschool, but someone needs to stand up to these schools and say enough is enough! I don't like proms anyway and i wouldn't go but i say right on to those people who are trying to make a good change in the public school system.

Agree. Anything goes in public school...well, anything except Christianity. The movie IndocriNation speaks volumes. It is so obvious.
