The cabin quadruple-murder suspect Christopher Dorner is believed to be holed up in is now fully engulfed in flames, according to CBS2′s Carter Evans, who also reported that tear gas was fired into the house before the fire broke out.
A shot was also fired around that time, and sources tell CBS2′s Juan Fernandez that tracks were found leading to a horse corral, which may mean Dorner was able to escape.
He was employed as a Los Angeles police officer from 2005 to 2008, when he was fired for making false allegations against a fellow officer. Quan’s father, a former LAPD Captain, represented Dorner in the hearing that ultimately lead to his dismissal from the force. Dorner was named as a suspect in the deaths of Quan and Lawrence on Feb. 6....
I've heard that burning to death can be painless...after your skin burns off. Once the pain receptors are dead, its a "relative" breeze. Its not a comforting caveat.

Reminds me of those horrible bombs which explode and the sticky substance catches fire and adheres to human flesh with no hope of getting it off. Nasty!

Well, I guess it's been confirmed that it was indeed his body. I thought that type of forensics took longer but I guess they got him. I don't know what goes through peoples heads but I guess he's probably lost forever and in a very different place right now, begging for another chance that he'll never get.
I don't know if you all have been following the while story, but when I saw his face on the news this mornig, all I could think about is how he is most likely condemned forever and in great torment at this very moment. I also feel for the homeowners that lost their home and their memories.
