Pelosi: Federal government doesnâ€™t have a spending problem

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Sunday downplayed concerns about federal spending levels, arguing that Republicansâ€™ laserlike focus on budget cuts is misplaced.

â€œIt isnâ€™t as much a spending problem as it is priorities,â€ Mrs. Pelosi, California Democrat, said on â€œFox News Sunday.â€

â€œIt is almost a false argument to say that we have a spending problem.â€ she added.
