If lawmakers and authorities are truly concerned about stopping gun violence in schools, they need to take a close look at the prescription of psychotropic drugs for children and young people, says a leading psychiatrist.
In an exclusive in-person interview in New York City with WND, London-based Dr. David Healy criticized pharmaceutical companies that have made billions of dollars marketing Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors, known as SSRIs.
Psychotropic drugs “prescribed for school children cause violent behavior,” Healy stated.
The drugs are widely used in the U.S. as antidepressants by doctors working in the mental health field and increasingly by primary care doctors, he noted....

The problem is we as a people have decided to kick God out of our culture, classrooms, and courts. When we devalue life (via abortion) then people's sensibility of the preciousness of life becomes diminished. We do not have a gun problem, we have a sin problem. I have several times sited the example of Kennesaw GA where heads of households are required to own a gun. They have less than a handful of murders since passed over 25 years ago. Our Lord said before you go to battle you count the cost. These mass killers have obviously done that as they chose gun free zones. There is no fear of God before their eyes.

The story here is bigger . The reason for mass killings and such is because our government and most of its people have turned away from God and turned to the kingdom of self. It's an absence of light. Sin . Pills didn't do it the person controlled by darkness did it. It's deeper than guns. There is a diabolical evil force set out to destroy mankind because it hates the human soul . It don't matter what country your from . We are all targets.

Are you sure? I recall reading some pro-gun arguments that claimed that Britain had effectively abolished private gun ownership prior to the 2nd amendment, not that I was convinced by such.
The last time I checked , there aren't gunstores on every corner . It's not my fault that our country does nothing to keep guns out of mentally disturbed and criminals hands. If a law abiding citizen wants a rifle it's his right and business no one else's. I have nothing but love for England but if that's how they enjoy living , being told what they can and can't have , it's their perogative. I personally think government should work for the people, should their be stricter gun laws yes, should law abiding citizens be able to have a rifle , yes. Should criminals and the mentally ill , no. Freedom is what makes life great, enslavement leads to misery. I'm sure that if the firearm ban was lifted in England , most who complain would be the first in line to get one.

Common Sense is a myth. Just because something makes sense to most people, doesn't mean it's true. A good hint of this is news stories trying to debunk popular myths using science.
FYI, America does not have “millions” of gun stores, it has around 50K. Is that too many? Who knows – headcounts imply nothing.
Just because Britain does things a certain way, doesn't mean it's normative for civilized people. God is not an Englishman. Britain had no problem with private firearms ownership, or capital punishment, until the 20th Century. What happened to require this change?
