Bill Gates interview: I have no use for money. This is God’s work

William Henry “Bill” Gates is a rich man. His estimated wealth, some 65  billion measured in US dollars, equals the annual GDP of Ecuador, and maybe a bit more than that of Croatia. By this rather crude criterion, the founder of Microsoft is worth two Kenyas, three Trinidads and a dozen or so Montenegros. Not bad for a university dropout.

Gates is also mortal, although some of his admirers may find that hard to believe, and as they say, there are no pockets in shrouds. So he is now engaged in the process of ridding himself of all that money in the hope of extending the lives of others less fortunate than himself.

“I’m certainly well taken care of in terms of food and clothes,” he says, redundantly. “Money has no utility to me beyond a certain point. Its utility is entirely in building an organisation and getting the resources out to the poorest in the world.” ...

Gates, made a lot of money because he was a perfect example of a 19th century Robber baron. From a --secular-- viewpoint Gates is trying to pay for his sins by philanthropic work, which is is just what the Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses (PDF) also try to do. I'm no admirer of Mr. Gates the businessman but,

Matthew 6
2 "When therefore you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.---NASB

Ah, for you anti-vaccine types, oh got your flu-shots?

Egypt anti-polio drive after Pakistan-link virus found.

But for you who won't get their flu-shots, Avoid Oklahoma! Social-media map warns of flu hotspots.

Now if you live in Nebr. locking yourself away in your house until Spring isn't all that unappealing.

re: polio: i still know that when i see an adult with polio, they must be over 58 years old, before the vaccine became widely used in the USA.
Gates-
1. although a college drop out, he was totally dedicated to computers instead, spending over the magical 10,000 hours mark (see Outliers book) to become so proficient.
2. How did Gates get so much money, when his products are so much cheaper than Apple's? Makes you wonder what Apple is doing with all their money from their sky-high profit margin.
And what happened to Steve Jobs money?

First of all to repeat, Statement on Risk vs Benefit of Vaccinations by David Satcher, M.D., PH.D.. Oh, and a source that should know about vaccines, Vaccines & Preventable Diseases. And wait! Contain yourself! Who Should NOT Get Vaccinated with these Vaccines?. The last two URLs are from the Center for Disease Control. By the way, jpw, we would solve the carbon dioxide problem by controlling the out-gassing of ruminants and termites.

As far as Reconsidering Bill Gates this fellow has some of the right ideas about separating the individual from his business practices. But you can't buy redemption, God Hates Sin, Hates Sinners. Mr. Gates may well have reward in earthly sphere and redeem his reputation before men--but you can buy God! Perhaps we have to add Mr. Gates to the list of Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses (PDF)?

The good doctor you quoted is not qualified (not her field of expertise) to make the comments she makes and is generally discredited by the people who are. So, unlike you I don't think her information is accurate. Follow the money, the doctor's "facts" are fraudulent.

Unprofitable Servant,
bg and the world health organization are reporting a decrease in wild cases of polio after India campaign......

and....the local doctors are reporting a 12-fold increase in acute flaccid paraylsis (AFP).

they are all correct.

as for human suffering.... it was increased. as for the mothers of the children.... they are left with 12 times the number of disabled children.

so I must say that what you see as a solution..... is to me the ignorance of human wisdom..... just as this same movement will abort 50 million babies and call it philanthropy. a generation will take the pill and end up with STD's and permuscuity and call it freedom.

how can I explain the mind of the debased man who has solutions for the world outside of God and God's creation?

I cannot.

The numbers I gave was to show how media coverage of one event and media non-coverage of another event can shape our thinking.

how many Armenian Christian were killed in Turkey in the genocide? yet we have little emotional impact because its not talked about.

I gave you a good name, and that is for you to pursue, I've done enough on this thread. Good day!

God is slow to anger and is slow to punish sin. According to darwin's science, God is dead, but indeed Christ is risen.

I'm looking at a stat here.
polio in US:
in 1950 - 9 deaths
in 1960 - 80 deaths
what happened between those years?
as of 2009, latest VAERS statistic on the gu#$rdee vaccine:
43 deaths.....not from the disease, but from the vaccine.
now in your living time, you are seeing more deaths from one "proven solution" than the deaths from polio in 1950 that was "the ruin of mankind".
so, it may be of benefit to you to start reading, as did Dr. Tenpenny -- an emergency room doctor who put thousands of hours of study into it --- which moved her from parroting to understanding.
Thank you for your answer, but you did not answer my question as to what your solution would be. The stats that I saw were, "Polio vaccine was licensed in the United States in 1955. During 1951 to 1954, an average of 16,316 paralytic polio cases and 1,879 deaths from polio were reported each year. As of 1991, polio caused by wild-type viruses had been eliminated from the Western Hemisphere. Down to 43 is a big improvement.

Is "gu#$rdee vaccine" a polio vaccine? or are you deliberately seeking to confuse?

Last I knew co2 was a product of human breathing and was taken in by plants that then make oxygen. We bring that down to zero and all human and vegetation die. Global warming is already a proven scientific fabrication and hoax. Polio has nearly been eliminated by the polio vaccine. I am aware of the problems you have previously brought up. Just out of curiosity, what would you suggest people do to avoid the virus. None of my comment should been seen as support of the Gates foundation or Planned Parenthood.

Jim, yes, it is absolute nonsense.

Teds presentation, February, 2010, by bg himself:

we have tons and tons of Co2 emissions and "somehow we must make changes to bring that number down to zero".

Equation shows that carbon dioxide is caused by the multiplication of people, services, energy and carbon dioxide per unit of energy.

"first let's get to population......if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services we can lower that by perhaps 15-20%"

What utter nonsense about vaccines again! JPW, I really hope you and yours have gotten their flu shots! q.v., Statement on Risk vs Benefit of Vaccinations by David Satcher, M.D., PH.D.. Huge benefits compared to the tiny, but yes, some risk to some who are vaccinated for various diseases.

Well, back to the article about the robber baron who is trying to assuage his conscience over past condemned business practices? Even worse men like Carnegie at least invested in the country where they got their loot, instead of let's say Africa.

I don't mine Mr. Gates trying to repair his reputation, with even spending some of his loot in Africa, but I think he should spend more in America--other than on a giant house, etc.

and why should we the American church pass on the memo that Mr. Margaret Sanger is coming to town? Ho, ho, ho! With lots of gifts for the children if they've been naughty or nice? gifts from darwins west, free of charge! by all means, let the African church embrace darwins west in the name of Christ!

those "ignorant" Africans, perhaps those "impoverished", "back-woods", "country-folk" Africans, could, without Darwin come up with their own solutions, one would have to ask, after centuries of life without autoimmune disease, what was the catalyst? I'm sure those "backward" Africans are just more permiscuous, less moral, and need to be saved by Darwin. and what a good time for darwin to leave, as the west collapses under its own debt, loss of jobs, and society and health. why not export our highest achievements?

African preachers think it wise to pass along free contraception from Planned Parenthood (and the Gospel) to young AIDS-orphaned girls. If it weren't for PP, wouldn't they also be promiscuous and pregnant? Now, thankfully, they're only promiscuous.

His 'no use for money' is certainly a boon to the culture of death hovering over the dark continent.

BG, his greatest work for god, goal..by own mouth... the depopulation of the world through vaccines and reproductive services. His father was on the board of Planned Parenthood.

After India program we have read that polio-like paralysis has gone up 12 times in children in India .... according to their national doctor organizations (I forget their name at the moment, but have posted this before).

Now the church will be involved in these efforts.

Look at the BMG Foundation enormous funds to convert African land to GM crops!

By the end, M will own the entire continent of food (African farmers will not own the seed, and since it has the suicide gene, has to be rebought, also look into the Indian farmer suicide every 30 seconds because their family farms were ruined after taking on M and not able to afford the patented seed).

Now the church is expected to take all these things on as humanitarian.

It is the UN-Eugenics-Scientific NWO, a very "Babylon"-like "city on a hill".

If these indeed are the end times, many will have their ears tickled by Margaret Sanger's progeny.

The remnant will remember the Kingdom of God is not built in this fashion.

Watch his video on grandma not getting her medicine so that we can pay for teachers. austerity replace family.
