Jerry Springer made an admission Friday that Americans on both sides of the aisle might agree with.

Hi Cliff...no, you never missed anything. I watched Springer probably twice when I was a kid and it made me uncomfortable even then. The show is about secrets others want to reveal to others while the nation watches. Things like: you're not my babys daddy, I'm a woman but used to be a man, I'm your daddy but I'm also your Uncle, etc. Really nasty stuff that America seems to love because the guy has been on forever.
Jerry Springer gives himself too much credit.(but what else would you expect from him) He is a symptom not a cause. We are told that in the last days men shall be lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. It can be summed up in the Biblical truth about those who know not God, there is no fear of God before their eyes.

He did nothing but televize a society already in decline. He gives himself much more credit than he deserves. All that Springer accomplished was bringing America's seediest alleys to the TV screen for all to see and remind people that someone always has it worse. Besides that, I really think there is an awful lot of pure acting going on.
