A recent Economist article, “Banking on the ummah,” reviewed the country’s Islamic banking industry and pointed out the lack of standardized regulations and transparency. The establishment of an independent “Islamic economy” is an important factor in the Muslim Brotherhood agenda. Consequently, the development of Islamic banks...
I've always entertained various end of world scenarios, contemplating how thi or that might play out in future events. Never once did the Muslim brotherhood pop into my head. This all seems crazy to me. They are all sworn, by the Koran, to convert us or kill us...period. people always speak of the dangerous radicals, but I submit that they, every one of them, are dangerous. The difference between the extremists and the "friendlies" is that the extremists simply have the means and the mental fortitude to actually carry out their belief system in the name of Allah. They are simply closet extremists if they are true believers. That mosque down the road from us, the mosque we drive by every day...they openly hate us, and we are supporting them in every conceivable way. If someone wanted to murder me, I would not befriend them, buy them a house next door, argue for their right to do so, or provide the funds they needed to purchase their weapon of choice. We have murderous criminals living in our neighborhoods, attempting a hostile takeover, and the government is acting as if they are a jilted lover who can be won over with roses and chocolates.
