Ex-Pastor Jack Schaap Seeks Minimum Sentence in Teen Sex Case
Jack Schaap, former pastor of First Baptist Church in Hammond, Ind., has requested in a new court filing that he be given the minimum 10-year sentence for his sexual relationship with a teen girl from his church. He blamed the affair on stress and depression.
Schaap, 55, was under great stress, exhausted and depressed at the time of the relationship, says a sentencing memorandum filed in U.S. District Court in Hammond by the megachurch pastor's attorney, Paul Stracci.
"Unfortunately, for a four-week period during the summer of 2012, he acted in a manner contrary to the entire balance of his life by engaging in sexual activity with a young woman with whom he had only recently come to counsel," Stracci wrote in the memorandum, according to The Associated Press....
UPS, of course I was thinking that Mr. Schaap would become a Christian now. The Apostle Paul even killed Christians, until Christ converted him on the road to Damascus, Acts 9:2-15, can one hope Mr. Schaap will become a Christian, even if we shouldn't expect it.

First Baptist Church is in full cooperation with our local authorities in their investigation of this matter. Our church grieves over the need to take this action and the impact it will have on our people....

The difference here, Jim, is the apostle Paul could have an effective jail ministry because he had not violated the 1st, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th commandments. He had, by the grace of God, a conscience void of offense toward God and man. The apostle Paul was not salt that had lost its savor but instead giving into his vile lust, he had kept his body under subjection lest he also be a castaway. Street preacher is correct in stating but for the grace of God we would find ourselves in the same condemnation. But his others rants have no foundation but we just consider the source and ask God to bless him and open his eyes to the truth!

He was very intelligent, but his Biblical views were odd and out there to say the least. You have no business being on the street and telling anyone of Christ. Please don't respond to this because I think you are extremely odd and honestly, I can't understand most of what you say half the time anyway. You are a very strange, disturbed man.
Don't sweat Tony Chris. Every forum has a troll and as the axiom goes the important thing is not to feed 'em. For me, I don't think he's real. I suspect he's likely a Jesuit trained, Masonic, crypto-Jew, double-agent paid by the Mossad, GRU, ISI and Sesame Street. Regardless, he's not worthy of the attention he craves.

Tony, do you have any family in Chicago? As one lady pointed out, when you masquerading as woman, she wondered if they could help you? I would suggest some Catholic or even Jewish aid societies.
I really hate to loose my tool, but you have to be rational in your arguments to make me look good.
Tony Cisnero's at it again? I do know what fits you since it supports what you have said in the past and even now, Identity: A 'Christian' Religion for White Racists. It's a non-Christian that you support, Jack Schaap--Teaches Prosperity Doctrine!. So, again, man of many aliases Your ranting and name calling is of a sad nature. Does your family know that you are doing this?
Oh, for Christians, and we hope one day Tony may become one, check out, Christian Fellowship Church I doubt you'll run into the likes of "Observer, etc. etc." there and you'll get good honest preaching.
Schaap, should want to stay in prison as long as possible to carry out a prison ministry! The apostle Paul did. 1st Baptist was fortunate in having Schaap taken from them,
Matthew 12 33 "Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree bad, and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit. 34 "You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. 35 "The good man out of his good treasure brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings forth what is evil. 36 "And I say to you, that every careless word that men shall speak, they shall render account for it in the day of judgment. 37 "For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned."---NASB
Your attorney will require you to blame everyone and everything else. Unless you fire your lawyer and represent yourself, he'll fire you for telling the truth.

He was also being treated for chronic and acute inflammation of his prostate – all of that led to his "aberrant" behavior with the girl who turned 17 during the relationship." Looks like he blamed everything but himself and the choice he made. See how that compares with David owning his sin in Psalm 51.

If he wanted to reduce stress, he should have relationship with his wife! She might be a lot less stressed now.
Galatians 5 19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you just as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.---NASB
