Pope says future of mankind at stake over gay marriage

"In the fight for the family, the very notion of being ‚Äď of what being human really means ‚Äď is being called into question," the Pope said in Italian during an end-of-year speech.

"The question of the family ... is the question of what it means to be a man, and what it is necessary to do to be true men," he said.

The Pope spoke of the "falseness" of gender theories and cited at length France's chief Rabbi Gilles Bernheim, who has spoken out against gay marriage.

pipsqueak, amen.

It is not surprising that pastors who have neither seen or communicated with each other have very similar theology and sermons, because they follow the correct Principles of Bible Interpretation
from the above,

Gil Rugh said or, wrote:
The Bible is God's communication to man concerning who He is, how sinful man can be in a personal relationship with Him and how to live in that relationship.

This communication is perfect, as God is perfect and unchanging in its truthfulness and relevance because God who spoke it is truthful and unchanging.

The challenge for us is to approach the Bible to learn and study what it says without reading into it what we want it to say. There are certain principles that can be applied that will allow us to rightly divide the Word and understand what God has said, and what He meant when He inspired the men who wrote it down. The basic rules of interpretation discussed follow the literal, grammatical, historical hermeneutic.

However, Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No.

The Elect don't get it wrong they know the Word of God, and reject all others.

The elect are not idolatrous like the Roman Catholics therefore the Elect's Bible teaches them not to worship graven images, - such as the Roman Catholics do. Thus you can see who reads the correct version, since idolatry is evil per Exod 20:4.

The Elect do not blaspheme like the Roman Catholics do in the mass. Again the Elect reading the correct version of Scripture, would never be involved with the Roman Catholic "mass" since the truth teaches them otherwise.

The Elect follow sound Bible Doctrine thanks to the work of the Holy Spirit, John 16:13, so would never follow the heresies of the papal antichrist.

Praise the Lord that He does not allow the Elect to attend the Roman Catholic assemblage; - and brings the truth and the Elect together.
-------

BTW PIP. Tell Benny 16 that the future of mankind is in safe hands. IN "OUR" Bible we are taught about the Son of God, called Jesus who has everything in hand. One sin isn't going to destroy this outcome.

ps. Join a real church.

Well I certainly won't be picking the pope's interpretation. If a man is not born again, it is most unlikely he will interpret the Bible correctly. Besides which, I don't really need to pick. If the Lord shows me the truth from his word, I just accept it, give thanks for his enlightening grace, and go forwards.

"For as many copies that are available of the New Testament, for as many people who have read the New Testament, for as many pastors who have preached sermons based on New Testament texts there are just as many interpretations of the New Testament. Millions upon millions of interpretations of the New Testament and its contents."

-Pastor Trevor Hammack, Victory Baptist Church, "Perspective on the N.T."

The Pope has his interpretation. There are 9,999,999,999 others. Pick one but don't get it wrong.

I'm glad that we are in agreement over the homosexual and gay marraige issues, but what about the eternal futures of one billion Roman Catholics? What about those stakes?
