Uncle Sam has swiped your medical 'privacy'

Government mandates â€œtruth in advertisingâ€ but certainly does not practice it: Hence the â€œEmployee Free Choice Act,â€ which eliminates closed balloting for unionization; the â€œFinancial Reformâ€ bill that anointed the existing banking elite; or the â€œFood Safetyâ€ bill, which threatens small, organic, healthy farming.

But the leader of the pack is HIPAA â€“ technically the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, but more often referred to as â€œThe Privacy Actâ€ for its supposed protection of a patientâ€™s personal health information.

"uncle Sam" is in the process of taking every single right we have. If you think I'm lying, open your eyes and ears. A 5 year old can see that the govt is putting in overtime in taking certain rights away. To me they seem the to be the biggest civil rights violaters in the country. Of course some will disagree and that's fine but they will beg to differ when this reality knocks on their door. But what do I know?
