Karen Handel, Former Komen Executive, Issues Warning To Planned Parenthood
Karen Handel, the former executive at Susan G. Komen for the Cure who instigated the breast cancer charity's plan to pull grants from Planned Parenthood, delivered a lecture to the conservative Family Research Council on Thursday that sounded more like a battle cry.
"Planned Parenthood counted on conservative elected officials to be quiet, and they were silent," she said. "But they didn't count on me. Cecile Richards has absolutely no idea who she's picked a fight with, folks."
Handel, who is rumored to be considering a run for U.S. Senate in Georgia, has not dropped her fight against Planned Parenthood since a strong public backlash from Planned Parenthood supporters forced her to resign from Komen in February. She wrote a book about the incident, Planned Bullyhood, in which she calls Planned Parenthood "a bunch of schoolyard thugs," and on Thursday, she set out to further smear the family...

"further smear the family planning provider"? I guess this kind of "objective" reporting is to be expected from Huffington Post.
She sounds like a pit-bull with lipstick or a momma grizzly.

I agree that that you should not kill an innocent baby for the sins of Father. I am just saying that even if she is not the perfect candidate for the cause, she is currently about the only one. The Lord used Cyrus to accomplish His purpose with Israel. Maybe the Lord will use her to put a dent in government (can we say our tax dollars)support for Planned Parenthood.
Thanks for the clarification. You are correct, the Lord can and does use those that serve His purpose; the saved and the unsaved. As long as we don't assign a Christian value to them who are not in the faith; in other words, I believe no one can do the "positive" works of Christ, unless they are in Christ. I call these folks, "unwilling slaves", whereas you and I are willing slaves. Please don't ask me to clarify that. We are in agreement as usual.

Would it be better if she didn't make her exceptions, yup, but that is not the hand that providence has dealt us. Let us face it none of us have the needed influence to take on Planned Parenthood. As long as your above thoughts don't include Christian pragmatism or compromise. The Lord may be using this lady to accomplish His purpose, but that is His business and that of course doesn't mean I should assign a quality to her (being moral in Christ or even as accepting her as a servant of the Lord) that doesn't exist. I don't know anything about this lady except that her position on abortion is wrong.
So, do you disagree with the points that Tater and I raised?

When will we realize Conservative does not equal Christianity.
Very well said Tater. If rape and incest are exceptions, then abortion really isn't murdering an innocent life.
I also agree with you about conservatisim. What these pseudo-Christian political or cultural movements would have us do, is dummy down the gospel and include those that think like them on political or cultural issues, without regard to how they view salvation and our blessed Savior. So, a dog has 4 legs; a cat has 4 legs, therefore a cat is a dog. That is the logic of conservative = Christianity. This is a very dangerous thought processs. GOOD COMMENT.

Rape or invest? So if a pregnant woman has money invested then she should get an abortion?
