American Atheists' NYC Billboard Calls for Christmas Minus 'Myth' of Christ
American Atheists, the leading secular organization in the U.S., has launched its Christmas billboard campaign in New York City, urging people to abandon the Jesus Christ "myth."
"Keep the merry! Dump the myth!" the billboard reads, which features a jolly image of Santa Clause above a solemn wooden figure of the crucified Christ. A press release shared with The Christian Post by Teresa MacBain, Public Relations Director at American Atheists, notes that the billboard is strategically placed at the popular Times Square tourist location.
"We know that a large population of 'Christians' are actually atheists who feel trapped in their family's religion. If you know god is a myth, you do not have to lie and call yourself 'Christian' in order to have a festive holiday season. You can be merry without the myth, and indeed, you should," said David Silverman, President of American Atheists....

Once again, well said You and I would agree that Mohammed cannot threaten Satan and neither can any of the other false religions. So unless Satan is using diversionary tactics, he will only attack our Lord and Savior and those that follow Him. I realize there is a fine line, but we shouldn't forget the below.

Boy, for people who dont think God exists, they are sure spending alot of time ,energy,and money talking about Him. If they dont believe that God exist they should be quiet. They make me laugh. I feel sorry for them
"Keep the merry...dump the myth." There's a picture of Santa and Jesus. Are they serious? Do they not see their own intellectual dishonesty? When he says, "We encourage people to be honest with themselves and their families this year. If you don't believe in god, tell your family – honesty is the greatest gift, and they deserve it," he left out the part where we continue to lie to children about Santa Claus. I understand that he is talking to the people who believe Jesus is real and God. But our children believe that Santa is real, and we continue the myth; are we being honest about Santa Claus this year, too? He's on the billboard! Why is that okay? I guess it's only okay to believe something that makes you feel "merry," regardless of whether it's real or not, and we'll lie to our children about the truth so they can feel "merry" for CHRISTmas. So much for the American Atheists and their "honesty."
Why do the heathen rage?? Why are they so upset and hateful?? Why have they made it their mission to erase Christianity?? Why do they even care??
That's on them if they choose to believe that at first there was nothing, and then it exploded, but why the vicsious, hateful campains to erase every reference to God around the world? I don't understand why they don't just ignore what they don't believe, let others believe whatever they so choose, and just go about their sad, empty lives.

You and I would agree that Mohammed cannot threaten Satan and neither can any of the other false religions. So unless Satan is using diversionary tactics, he will only attack our Lord and Savior and those that follow Him. I realize there is a fine line, but we shouldn't forget the below.
