Young Conservatives to George Will: Traditional Marriage Supporters Not Dying
Conservative columnist George Will claimed Sunday that the opposition to gay marriage is dying because the opponents are old. Some young conservatives took exception to those remarks.
On ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," Will said, "Quite literally, the opposition to gay marriage is dying. It's old people."
Ryan Anderson and Andrew Walker for National Review Online retorted, "Despite our youthful reluctance to disagree with Will, we do."
It's a pity that France didn't kick out all of the hardline Catholics instead of the Huguenots. They would be in a much better shape today. ( History of the Huguenots ) Yes, I would say that the French Huguenots were much to political.
"France will ... disband radical faith-based groups, including hardline traditionalist Catholics, if a new surveillance policy signals they suffer a “religious pathology” and could become violent."
Even if all young conservatives took exception to what Geo. Will said, Mr. Will's statement would be correct, because there are a lot more you liberals out there. We of course wish all became Christian then there wouldn't be any question about the immorality and obnoxiousness of queer marriages.
Mark 10 2 And some Pharisees came up to Him, testing Him, and began to question Him whether it was lawful for a man to divorce a wife. 3 And He answered and said to them, "What did Moses command you?" 4 And they said, "Moses permitted a man TO WRITE A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE AND SEND her AWAY." 5 But Jesus said to them, "Because of your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment. 6 "But from the beginning of creation, God MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE. 7 "FOR THIS CAUSE A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER, 8 AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH; consequently they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."---NASB
The above says something about divorce also.
