Noah’s Biblical Flood Actually Happened, Says Famed Archeologist Who Found the Titanic
The story of Noah’s ark and its associated flood continues to be retold to children and studied by theologians, alike. While some dismiss it as a mere fable, others believe wholeheartedly that the event literally unfolded, with a massive down-pouring of water ravaging the earth at God’s command. Among those who believe that Noah’s flood was a very real historical occurrence is Robert Ballard, one of the world’s most famed archaeologists.
Ballard, known for finding the Titanic, is now searching for evidence of one of history’s most talked-about events. Unlike other investigators who have their minds set on finding the actual ship, Ballard and his team have gone to Turkey to search for clues and evidence that corroborates the notion that a flood wiped away civilization thousands of years ago....

I Question The "Christians" he (Ham) laments who dismiss the literal reading of the Creation.
These So-Called "Christians" Aren't True Historic Christians; Well, At Least Not True Christians Of The Historic Biblical Literalist Sort.
History Does Repeat Itself...Literally.
The "Christian Post" Claims To Be Christian; Yet, Their Articles Covertly Question Historic Biblical Literalists & Biblical Literalism.
And Ken Ham. Well, His Surname Speaks For Itself.

By Lillian Kwon | Christian Post Reporter
For 30 years, Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis has advocated a literal, straightforward reading of Genesis, the first book of the Bible. Interestingly, his staunchest critics have been fellow Christians.
Ham believes that God is the Creator of the universe and that it took six literal days for God to create everything. That view, he says, is a consequence of accepting the authority of the Word of God as infallible. To reject that belief is to undermine that authority.
Yet many Christians, he laments, not only dismiss the literal reading of the Creation account but also feel embarrassed by it.
"In today's modern scientific age, many Christians believe it's an embarrassment to accept a straightforward reading of Genesis and that Christians should not reject the majority view in the scientific community that accepts millions of years and other evolutionary beliefs," Ham, whose ministry is behind the Creation Museum, told The Christian Post this week.
If One Is An Historic Biblical Literalist As Myself, One Will Realize That Noah's Biblical Flood Literally Happened & Is Already An Historic Fact; Whether Any 'Famed Archeologist Who Found The Titanic' Says So Or Not !
Noah's Biblical Flood Was Literally A Universal; That Is, A "World-wide" &-Or "Global" All-Earth-Encompassing Flood.
Noah's Flood Was Not Some "Local", "Regional" &-Or "Continental" Flood: But A Totally-Earthly, Worldly & Universally Climatic Catostrophic Event.
And, If One Believes In The Historic Biblical Account/Event Of A "Global 'Universal' Flood"; One Has To Also Believe That All The Human Races On Planet Earth Are Literal, Physical & Genetic "Blood" Descendants Of Noah's Only Surviving Three Sons (& Each Son's Wife):
#1.Shem (The Father Of The Shemitic/Semitic Peoples On Earth)
#2.Ham (The Father Of The Hamitic Peoples On Earth)
#3.Japheth (The Father Of The Japhetic Peoples On Earth)
"Now These Are The Generations Of The Sons Of Noah, Shem, Ham, And Japheth: And Unto Them Were Sons Born After The Flood...
By These (The Sons Of Japheth) Were The Isles Of The Gentiles Divided In Their Lands; Every One After His Tongue, After Their Families, In Their Nations...

Very well said! If we depend on science to support scripture, what do we do when it doesn't. The biblical narrative of the flood is all we need. And, it was worldwide.
Well of course it happened God said so and thats the truth.
"Gen 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die."
Reason "5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them."
The apsotle Peter says men are "willingly ignorant" of the fact of the Flood - the evidence is everwhere. But just like the so calld "shroud of Turin" even if real finding the ark or what Mr. Ballard is dong will not convince anybody due to the blindess of unbelief. Our attitudes today are exactly as in the days of Noah. If you want to know how peohttp://www.wordsofthislife.ca/2012/02/attitude-of-antediluvians.htmlple. thought back them check out this:

Well, on second thought, all of the animals, big and small, would have had to be able to get out safely and spread out so the ark must have rested fairly close to ground lever...no? There's is so much evidence for a world wide flood anyway, not to mention around 300 ancient flood stories from around the planet.
Another interesting possibility is that Noah's ark may simply have suffered the same fate as that of the brazen serpent. Demolished at the hands of one of Noah's more Godly descendants in an effort to stop people from worshiping it (the ark) rather than God.
If nothing else, modern militant atheists now have yet another target to fire their salvos at, but Ballard is a "big boy" and can take care of himself, so I'm not too worried about him.
