NC Doctors Sue to End Mandatory Ultrasounds Before Abortions
Physicians in North Carolina are challenging an abortion law in court that makes it a requirement for women to receive an ultrasound before terminating their pregnancy.
"There's no medical basis to [the ultrasound requirement] whatsoever," said Dr. Serina Floyd, an obstetrician and gynecologist at Duke Medicine and a plaintiff in this case, The Duke Chronicle reported. "It's entirely ethical, moral and political and not in any way medically based."
The Woman's Right to Know Act law, which went into effect in Oct, 2011 and carries the ultrasound requirement, is intended to have mothers hear and see their unborn children before making a decision on whether or not to have an abortion. Groups such as Planned Parenthood, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Center for Reproductive Rights, who are backing the N.C. injunction against the law, are saying that the clause should be removed....

Thanks Christopher000 but I must confess I ran out of characters to give the website credit and had to wait for a response. I should have used the web app on my phone I guess. - now that you let the cat out of the bag
Jim, did you read the two articles that showed the voter fraud?? PBS is just a liberal outpost spewing out liberal thinking with rare exceptions. However, when I have opportunity I will, God willing, watch the link.

They probably would've wanted to keep white trash Republicans out who threw peanuts at a Black journalist, etc. To the GOP credit I think those attendees to their convention was kicked out?
Way too many places demand an I.D., sounds like "1984." Considering except in Chicago where the motto is vote early, vote often--even if your dead. There's no call for IDs anyway in voting, the voting poll people where I vote know who I am. A signature is good enough.
Valid photo identification is required for the things that follow:
adopt a pet purchase a home purchase an automobile purchase a gun obtain a bank account obtain a credit card obtain a passport write a check make a credit card purchase apply for a loan to purchase anything to prove your age to get married to receive a marriage license to drive to buy a house to close on a house to get medical care to get on a plane to get insurance on anything to get a job to get a post office box to get a hunting license to get a fishing license to get a business license to cash a paycheck rent an apartment rent a hotel room rent a car rent furniture rent tools and equipment receive welfare receive social security receive food stamps buy cigarettes buy alcohol buy a bus ticket buy a cell phone buy any antihistamine go in to a casino go in to a bar go to college have your water turned on have your electricity turned on have your cable turned on have your gas turned on obtain trash pick up service pick up a package from the post office pick up a package from fed ex pick up a package from ups pick up a prescription
You had to have a photo id to get into the DNC in Charlotte, are you saying that was so they could discriminate against minorities
Quite a few people don't have driver's licenses. I can think a holder of a Ph.D. who probably doesn't have one. Sometimes getting photo IDs is not easy for people who don't have the transportation, who are elderly etc. I think you'll find the states where White Supremacists are still influence, President Obama wouldn't have won photo IDs or not. Voter ID Rules Fail Court Tests Across Country really explains the arguments about it, and after looking at this article, one should look at Full Show: United States of ALEC. An excerpt from that page, '"Using interviews, documents, and field reporting, the episode explores ALEC’s self-serving machine at work, acting in a way one Wisconsin politician describes as “a corporate dating service for lonely legislators and corporate special interests.”'
The president did not win in any state that required a photo id. In Georgia, (one of the states that requires photo id)you can easily vote without an id it is called absentee ballot. So, no ones vote is being suppressed and if you need an id and cannot afford they will give you one at no charge. They even sent of RV's into neighborhoods to give people state issued id's.

Rubbish. Again. Why would a citizen not easily be able to produce ID?

So? Just bring your ID/drivers license to the polls. What's so hard about that? It wouldn't stop me, unless I managed to lose my license on the way to the polls, but hey, that's MY problem.

Woe be unto the truth if it ever dares to get between an evil man and what he wants. Whether that truth consists of ultrasound imaging, voter ID, or whatever.
And someone can plug in anything to add to the above, except the "death" of the mother, and in God's eyes it is still murder to undergo an abortion or to perform an abortion and it is accessory to murder to support the movement in any other way.
Mankind seems to think they can pervert God's justice, but in the end they will stand before the Lord and won't be able to plead their case.
I do pray for all those folks who have participated in this horrible procedure and pray they will repent and come to the Lord for forgiveness before they meet Him in judgment.
I hope they keep the ultra-sound requirement in NC. What would be better requirement is to make the man give a divorce settlement to the woman no matter what she does (perhaps even adding child support even if there is no child) and if he is even married to someone else -- legally. This would stop irresponsible sex. Perhaps a Federal law to this effect would be great--applying it to ex-Presidents as well?
