The gunman's rampage at that mall in Oregon just goes to show that we never know at what moment our time will be up. All the more reason to make sure that we are right with Christ at all times. The people that were killed got up that morning, had breakfast, commenced with that days activities, and then went off to the mall to pick up some gifts for the holiday. Each one of them thought they would eat dinner that night, and go to bed assuming that the next morning would arrive just like the last.
I always try to keep this reality in the forefront of my mind...I could be taken at any moment...am I right with God? What have I done? How would I be received? I try to never assume that I will be around to enjoy one more day because God's timetable for my life may be very different than the one I'm expecting.
Right on. It is up to the Heavenly Father when our time on earth is up.
