George Will: ‘Quite Literally, The Opposition to Gay Marriage Is Dying’
While Supreme Court watchers ponder how justices will come down in the debate over gay marriage, ABC’s George Will said Sunday on ABC News “This Week” it’s clear where public opinion is headed.
“There is something like an emerging consensus,” Will said, noting voters in three states recently endorsed same-sex marriage initiatives. “Quite literally, the opposition to gay marriage is dying. It’s old people.”
Democratic strategist James Carville agreed the 2012 election marked a “profound” shift on the controversial issue....
I never knew that taking the pill was a sin. What about using rubbers? Are we just suppose to have children every year until it just doesn't work anymore? I think I should clarify that I am also against birth control, however I am fortunate to have had opportunity to take the edge off of my stance and realize that some situations benefit from the pill, however few they may be.

If Presidential election was just held on support of queer marriages then President Obama would have lost, but there were other issues at stake such as saving Obamacare and implementing the "Buffet Rule."
The G.O.P. needed to run on issues they could have won with such such as being against queerness, returning honesty to government and have removed some other issues.
One of the few things that "Wild Bill" Clinton had right was the ability to have a line-item veto, the Republicans should have done a few of those things to party platform, and the Demos should have line-item vetoed queer marriages in their platform.
after decades of constant propogandizing, the public is showing confusion on this issue, no doubt. consensus, I wouldn't go that far. and agreement or acquiescing does not make something right. righteousness does not come out of a few agreeing. and change does not necessarily equal progress. we can easily study history and watch societies agree upon evil ideas that ultimately lead to their destruction.
