Mississippi May Become First Abortion-Free State as Hospitals Refuse Last Abortion Facility
Mississippi is poised to become the first abortion-free state in the nation as the last remaining abortion facility within its borders reports that it is having difficulty complying with the law.
Earlier this year, lawmakers in Mississippi passed a regulation that requires abortion facilities in the state to have board certification and obtain admitting privileges. The latter requirement, which allows abortionists to send women that are injured during an abortion to local hospitals for further treatment, was said to serve as a safeguard to protect women that need critical medical care.
After the bill was signed into law, Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the last abortion facility in the state, filed a lawsuit in an attempt to block the requirements. During a hearing in July, the facility explained to the court that it had been unsuccessful in obtaining admitting privileges, and was granted...

Really in cars and Jim from Lincoln??? Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of men among them are given fully to do evil. Proverbs 20:8 A king that sits in the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes. If a guy is about to rob me and runs because he hears a siren coming, I will thank the the Lord for external pressure and law, prohibitions, fines, and imprisonment that saved me from the evil deed. A state is on the verge on being abortion free and there is nothing to thank God for in that? Gotta be better news than a state now has the most abortion clinics per capita. Unless I am missing the verse that says the multitudes are going to be on the narrow way to life, I would rejoice when evil is stayed or diminished regardless of whether or not it was done for the correct motives.
Wouldn't want to use traffic light cameras and fines either because obedience must come from an altruistic internal heart-throbbing desire to not run red lights. Plus those freedom-loving joy-riding folks would just migrate to intersections without surveillance, right? With this philosophy, the overall traffic death rate for a town would spike the day you bother to enforce the red light law.
Moral obedience must only come from the heart. The law, prohibitions, fines and imprisonment are of no use.
Really nothing to PTL, using external pressure to achieve which can only be truly be achieved through the change of individuals, with that being said about, Mississippi's Only Abortion Clinic Fights To Stay Open, I have always supported making it tougher to get elective abortions. So, it's an interesting result -- if no doubt only a temporary one.
