West Point chapel hosts its first same-sex wedding
Cadet Chapel, the landmark Gothic church that is a center for spiritual life at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, hosted its first same-sex wedding Saturday.
Penelope Gnesin and Brenda Sue Fulton, a West Point graduate, exchanged vows in the regal church in an afternoon ceremony, attended by about 250 guests and conducted by a senior Army chaplain.
The two have been together for 17 years. They had a civil commitment ceremony that didn't carry any legal force in 1999 and had long hoped to formally tie the knot. The way was cleared last year, when New York legalized same-sex marriage and President Barack Obama lifted the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy prohibiting openly gay people from serving in the military....

It was mid-1970s and there was even a powerfully sympathetic made-for-TV movie about the first female class. I was a liberal back then so I loved it, and thought Linda Purl did a good job playing the story's protagonist. Had no idea then how bad the slippery slope of paternal abdication and role diffusion could or would be on our future culture.
For anyone wondering about this post: I saw posted today what is between the quotation marks and it made me laugh for it reminded me of the numerous times I posted something similar to that when I also was trying to post a link.

West Point belongs to Satan. However this is a sign of the US military today so Satan has enlarged his influence by raising the profile of the wicked in society above that of the Christian.
Then again that sign extends beyond the military to American society. The wrath of God is upon this nation.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
