School Removes God From First-Grader's Poem

When the word "God" becomes inappropriate in public schools, America really has ceased to exist.

Consider the story of a first-grade girl in West Marion, North Carolina, who had the word "God" stripped from a poem she wrote and was going to read at her school's Veterans Day assembly earlier this month.

The poem honored her two grandfathers who served during the Vietnam War.

I am amazed each and every day at how relevent the Bible is for today. One of my brothers is a nervous wreck over the economy and the general state of the world. Me, I say bring it on because I know that these things have to happen and things have to get much worse before God begins the cleanup.
I always pray for as much time as possible though so: as many people as possible get saved before it's too late, and so I have time to do some things for Him. I'm concerned about going to Heaven with nothing to show for my life.
