Two major Israeli newspapers are reporting that rockets fired from Egypt have hit Israel.
"Terrorists in the Sinai Peninsula launched rockets into Israel Friday night," reports the Jerusalem Post. "The rockets fell near an Israeli village on the southern border, causing some damage, but no injuries."
The Israeli daily Haaretz reports, "Rockets fired from direction of Egypt toward Eshkol Regional Council."

I am having a really hard time understanding why you are bringing this up, as if we should NOT back up ANY country that is being attacked by another simply for existing? Is this attack somehow the Jews fail too? I see such an ignorance of the specific hatred toward the Jewish people in history on this site that it sicke

By the way, I haven't seen any reliable reports of rockets being shot from Egypt, and certainly not in the Jerusalem Post
jpw, the Palestinian can well be a physical descendent of Abraham, but not of the chosen line which went through Isaac.
More importantly he would be have a spiritual link with Abraham which all Christians have,

I pray each night that God will limit the casualties since the Jews don't accept Jesus yet. What else should Christians be specifically praying for concerning Israel? That he'll come soon? Open their eyes? Destroy (or hinder instead) her enemies?
And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

I grew up in Chicago (the city) and one of my Aunts is a born again Christian, yet she often, and still does on occasion, make jokes or voice her disdain for Jews. I always cringe when she says something off color and offensive. She went to Moody Bible Institute and still attends Moody church. I don't know how that does not bother her Never anything nasty, but still. They used to drag me to Moody for church on Sundays. The pastors over the years were Warren Wiersby and Irwin Lutzer. Some of you may have heard of them since they have written books.
I concur Christopher000. "From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God's choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience," (Romans 11:28-30 NASB) We must not forget that their separation from Christ was so that we might be shown mercy as well. They will be re-grafted in soon, I pray. In the mean time, we must support all who resist the evil of Islam. Our allies are becoming fewer and fewer.
You mean the peaceful Arab spring has begun to spill over into Israel. I think we will soon see the caliphate they are pushing for. When that happens, the fireworks will really start.
