IRS Receives Complaint Against Billy Graham Evangelistic Association
A secular group has filed a complaint with the Internal Revenue Service against the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, alleging that the ministry's activity during the election season violates its tax exempt status.
Freedom From Religion Foundation, a Wisconsin-based organization, argued in their filed report that BGEA's "vote biblical values" ad campaign violated the IRS' rules on religious groups and political campaigning.
I really doubt that the BG or his organization had any effect on the election, except possibly increase the vote for President Obama. I think Rush Limbaugh helped elect Clinton (and who knows perhaps help elect Obama with his constant monotonous on him as he did Clinton?)
One would hope that BG would become a Christian, but he doesn't seem to realize either his state or shortness of time to correct his beliefs.
