Texas Megachurch Pastor Says Obama Will 'Pave Way' for Antichrist
A Texas megachurch pastor recently claimed that President Barack Obama's re-election victory would lead to the rise of the Antichrist.
Robert Jeffress, senior pastor at the First Baptist Church in Dallas, made remarks on Sunday before the election that should Obama win, his victory would lead to the reign of the Antichrist.
"I want you to hear me tonight, I am not saying that President Obama is the Antichrist, I am not saying that at all. One reason I know he's not the Antichrist is the Antichrist is going to have much higher poll numbers when he comes," said Jeffress....
These remarks remind me that sometimes pastors should be quiet. We all have outlooks and can think about the possibilites of something. Yet we should not always bring them up because we might be wrong. This pastor has no clue if Obama would bring on the Antichrist. Pat Robertson had no clue to know if God was judging the people of New Orleans.

Or perhaps the Antichrist will stand on a pro-life platform? That will at least turn out the evangelical vote so that they can vote against the "wicked" candidate.
The only thing the article forgot to mention is that Rick Perry would have helped pave the way also and he somehow managed to support him until Gov. Perry denounced him.
"I feel much freer now that I am certain the pope is the Antichrist." - Martin Luther (Circa 1521)
"There are many that think I am too fierce against Popedom; on the contrary, I complain that I am, alas! too mild; I wish I could breathe out lightning against pope and Popedom, and that every word were a thunderbolt." - Martin Luther (Circa 1521)
"[President Obama will pave the way for the Antichrist.] One reason I know he's [Obama's] not the Antichrist is the Antichrist is going to have much higher poll numbers when he comes." - Robert Jeffress (2012)
