Having been a journalist in Egypt for six years in the seventies, I have witnessed socialism with an Islamic twist to be a popular political ideology, especially amongst Arab journalists and intellectuals. Socialism, and even communism, have managed to survive in the ruthless Islamic political system as an alternative to full-fledged Sharia. The two ideologies have blended together in cases including the Baath Party in Syria and Iraq and socialist regimes in Egypt and Yemen. One major difference between the two ideologies is that Islam uses Allah, while socialism uses atheism, to fight the God of Christianity. Free democracies, such as the United States, are alien to Islam and socialism both because they regard government as a servant of the people and hold that human rights are granted by God and not by government or the code of Sharia.

Shame on us, here we are trading barbs with one another, along with whitewashing monsters in government both Republicans and Democrats when we could better use the time to:
Humble ourselves and pray (throwing ourselves under the authority of God, with a whole lot of begging God for His mercy on us, our families, our churches, our neighbors, our country and the nations of the world)
AND actually seek the face of God, to learn from Him what His will for us is (instead of telling Him what our will for Him is)
AND turn from our wicked ways (like pretending we don't have any sin and like we are better than others)
And hold on in our faith like lives depend upon it because they do that He would hear our prayers, FORGIVE OUR SIN and heal our land (even if that means it is only within the 4 walls of our own homes and church buildings BUT it could be so much more than that as nothing is impossible with God )
Now, James, since you show such a great fondness for the KJV you almost undoubtedly belong to a Black church? Many Black pastors are quite well educated and knowledgeable and only use the KJV because their congregation wants it. May I suggest that you talk to your Black pastor and help him to install an accurate Bible in his cburch?

The Watchtower jettisoned the KJV because they were fed up with folk turning them to I Timothy 3: 16 and I John 5:7. You need to explain that one, or ask Moriel to help you.

Let us see a Republican president signed the emancipation proclamation and the democrats opposed the 14th amendment (everyone voted no. The KKK was founded by democrats and the NCAAP was founded by Republicans.(not that you could tell nowadays) When the civil rights bill went through the democratic controlled congress the republicans (who were much smaller in number) voted by a much higher percentage for its passage. In fact had they not it would not have passed the democratically controlled congress. The sites cited in the MLK "I have a dream" speech as oppressive to blacks were all run by democrats. Obama and Biden ARE the culture of corruption. Have you not heard what they are promoting? Or isn't perversion and thievery on your list of corruptions?
Obama came out of a "nearly" black only church. Therefore by your standards the Democrat party must be popular among the racists in the Democrat party as well.
