The Gospel according to Obama

President Barack Obama was sharing a pulpit one day with a conservative Christian leader when a revealing exchange took place.

Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback, a conservative Christian who has taken public stands against abortion and same-sex marriage, had joined Obama for an AIDS summit. They were speaking before a conservative megachurch filled with white evangelicals.

When Brownback rose to speak, he joked that he had joined Obama earlier at an NAACP meeting where Obama was treated like Elvis and he was virtually ignored. Turning to Obama, a smiling Brownback said, “Welcome to my house!” ...

Alleged "independents" who like Obama need be reminded of Proverbs 16:12

To the person who brought up Romney and Ryan: This article is not about them. This about Obama who claims to be a devout Christian and constantly pushing homosexuality and funding abortions! It is immoral and wicked according to God! Also there was mention of conservative Christians? Oxymoron--my opinion.

Lemme see the article is entitled the Gospel according to Obama, a search through the lengthy article shows that it includes no references to Romney or Ryan. The article said nothing about democratic corruption. Because Jim is a firm believer in truth of the gospel, he would have commented on the false gospel that the president and those who share his beliefs are promoting and its destructive ends. Maybe Jim accidentally posted his response from another article here, that must have been what happened

Well, as long as no one considers the Romney/Ryan Mormon/Catholic team, Christian--because Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses aren't One also has to remember, The Record of Republican Corruption.

One has to ask members of both parties about A Culture of Corruption and Full Show: Plutocracy Rising. No, I don't give unqualified endorsements of Bill Moyers. For example his show, Full Show: United States of ALEC, is quite good for what's in it. I have some questions of what might have been left out.

Conservative Christians seemed to have to be reminded about verse 10 of 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. They already have verse 9 memorized.

Interesting. What's also interesting is that he references the Bible, using scripture, to support the Liberal agenda on the topic of gay marriage, abortion, etc.
Just like Billy Grahm, those who don't care to search things like this out in scripture, will believe anything that comes out of their mouths...even saying, "see, they are Christians" just because they referenced the Bible or said the name, "Jesus".
The word "Christian" sure means a lot of things these days and Satan has done a masterful job causing confusion and diluting the Word of God.
Christopher, very good comment. You said it better than I could, so I will just keep my mouth shut; or should I say my fingers shut.
