Dinesh D'Souza Resigns as Head of Christian College
The Board of Trustees of The Kingâs College, New York City has accepted the resignation of the schoolâs president, Dinesh DâSouza, effective immediately.
Board chairman Andy Mills said in a prepared statement, âAfter careful consultation with the board and with Dinesh, we have accepted his resignation to allow him to attend to his personal and family needs. We thank him for his service and significant contribution to the College over the last two years.â
The King's College Board of Trustees named DâSouza president in 2010. His resignation comes after two days of intense controversy following a story by WORLD documenting DâSouzaâs relationship with a woman who is not his wife....
The Board of this christian college know for two years their was problems. The Board should have acted long before this. Where the leadership. This is happening to often in the christian community. We need Godly men in leadership.
I would wonder how widely known this was before it hit the media? He does make a mockery of Christianity.
1 Corinthians 13 8 Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away.---NASB
One can well ask if D'Souza was showing love for others, but even more importantly the pleasant note of dismissal from the college which he also was disloyal to (by his disloyality to Christ) should at least been more neutral or slightly more to the point?
