Fashion, footwear and retail giant Nordstrom, with annual retail sales reportedly exceeding $10 billion, has joined the ranks of businesses and corporations publicly announcing their advocacy for same-sex marriage.
The company confirmed to WND that it sent out yesterday an internal email to its approximately 56,000 employees announcing its decision.
“We gave this thoughtful consideration and felt the time was right to come out in support of this civil rights issue,” explained the email, signed by company Presidents Blake, Pete and Erik Nordstrom. “It is our belief that our gay and lesbian employees are entitled to the same rights and protections marriage provides under the law as our other employees. We also believe supporting freedom to marry will help us create a more attractive and inclusive workplace for our current and prospective employees.”...
Then it's time (if you haven't already) to "walk" out of Nordstrom's and the rest of the Fortune 500 companies (e.g. Apple, Walmart, Campbell's, Google, etc.) that take their *stand publicly* against the Bible for so-called "homosexual rights"--i.e. the open persecution and condemnation of the Bible and true Christianity. "Who is on the Lord's side?" [Psalms].
Will you continue to patronize and financially support your now very open persecutors? Radical gay rights orgs make headway by their boycotts and shouting while being only 2 percent of the population...yet numerous Christians patronize *for the unessential world's goods* their persecutors despite their professed faith.

The bottom line is this: Humanity has always based their decisions off of their "feelings" we in our carnal minds have always said things like, "I felt like it was what I needed to do." We act on our emotional state rather then what is right or just. A married man may have an attractive woman enticing him to have an affair, he may "feel" like allowing his emotions to dictate his actions but regardless of how he feels it is still morally wrong. That being said, homosexuals have deep lustful "feelings" for the same sex, however despite what they feel, they have a choice to act on those "feelings" or just do whats RIGHT! I understand that homosexuality is demon spirits manifesting themselves in these peoples lives, however they have the power not to act on a simple lustful feeling or emotion. When I get angry I sometimes get tempted to yell or aviod the situation, but regardless of how I feel, I still have to do whats right for my wife, children and myself. Homosexuality is a "lifestyle choice" based off of wrong "feelings" that lead to a life of sin, just as any other sin is wrong. I'm sure if you asked a homosexual if it was ok for thier partner to cheat the answer would be NO, why? Because it is wrong! Morality was established by God!

The Nordstrom fanily has no fear of God. All of the wealthy people who are supporting homosexual marriage do not fear God. They don't believe that the Bible is the word of God. They are trusting in their wealth to protect them. They have set themselves up as their own god

To clarify, Ezekiel 16 is a metaphorical description(Parentage of Amorite and Hittite w/Sodom as a sister) of the wickedness Judah had slipped into. Gods Covenant people are more guilty because we have the Law to guide us, Sodom did not. While the destruction of Sodom was to serve as an example of those that live ungodly, the warning of Ez 16, as Rufus said, is a warning to the Church
When we use terms like 'homos,' its counterproductive as it denotes pride. We have a higher calling, and that is to appeal to Christians in churches that accept this behaviour as normal. We have to restate the Law, and more importantly its conclusions in Romans 1 in humility and the Fear of God.
Sodom & Gomorrah were destroyed for homosexuality but it was not the sole reason. Other reasons were pride, fulness of bread, idleness and not looking after the poor. Each of these conditions are rampant in the United States today (Ezekiel 16:49).

Yes, yes, yes! Whether it be the supporters within the churches or the homos themselves, I don't understand how either side can justify their positions...using the bible.
I know of homo couples who actually attend church together. Mostly RC, but some even Baptist which has shocked me recently. I would be afraid that God would hit me with a lightening bolt.
I've always assumed that 1) they are convinced that God has changed and now loves mankind too much to send anyone to Hell. 2) they've convinced themselves that there is not a Hell. 3) they believe they can double up on indulgences to shorten their time in Purgatory.
