Minister quits Kirk over gay ordination

The Church of Scotland has been accused of the “systematic dismantling of the true gospel” over the ordination of homosexual ministers.

Revd Paul Gibson, who left over the issue, says the Kirk is pursuing an “erroneous liberal agenda”.

Speaking to The Scotsman the 39-year-old said: “I was baptised in the Church of Scotland, I grew up in the Kirk and continue to have many dear friends who remain in the church, so I think I speak for those who have left in recent years that it is with great pain and upset that we’ve felt the need to withdraw and move on.

“It’s not with any sense of bravado or anything like that. But it’s sadly the case that after many years of liberalism and political-style manoeuvring, the Church of Scotland has reached a point where the only thing that’s not tolerated is Biblical orthodoxy.” ...

Catholicism is powerless and not worthy of much consideration. Sometimes the thing we fear turns out to be nothing.
You do give such 'life' to the old man.
Jesus states: Matthew 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

2John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

"The General Assembly’s decision to allow homosexual men and lesbians to serve as church ministers applies to clergy who have declared their homosexuality and were ordained before May 2009."

Now that the Church of Scotland is predominantly Liberal it does not believe or witness, that God wrote the Bible.
Jesus states: Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

This state of affairs has been in existence at the Kirk for decades now. Their first big rejection of the Bible was to ordain women to the ministry.

The Kirk is now a worldly organisation no better than the Roman Catholics and the Anglicans.

Satan is destroying church by church and denomination by denomination. Britain no longer has a "National" church.

Sodomy is not only sin but also an abomination in the eyes of God. The church which puts sin and abomination in the pulpit dishonors God and disgraces the Bible and the church.

The trouble is Angela, that you appear to have prophesied that if Americans will repent (and nothing short of NATIONALLY)then God will relent of these judgements He is pouring out on your unbelieving Nation.

Did the Holy Spirit reveal this to you?

"Monergistic regeneration is a redemptive blessing purchased by Christ for those the Father has given Him (1 Pet 1:3, John 6:37, 39). This grace works independently of any human cooperation and conveys that power into the fallen soul whereby the person who is to be saved is effectually enabled to respond to the gospel call (Acts 2:39, 1 Cor 1:2, 9, 24, Rom 8:30 John 1:13, Acts 13:48). It is that supernatural power of God alone whereby we are granted the spiritual ability and desire to comply with the conditions of the covenant of grace; that is, to apprehend the Redeemer by a living faith, to come up to the terms of salvation, to repent of idols and to love God and the Mediator supremely. The Holy Spirit, in quickening the fallen soul, mercifully illumines the mind and renews the heart, giving God's elect the capacity and inclination to exercise faith in Jesus Christ (John 6:44, 1 John 5:1). This instantaneous and intensely personal work of God is the means by which the Spirit brings us into living union with Him." JH

The Work of The Trinity

When a sinner is resurrected, they respond favourably to the gospel and are saved.

Talking about your heresy Jim...
"So-called four-point Calvinism fails the test of biblical Calvinism because this view tends to see the TULIP as an abstraction rather than seeing it Christocentrically. The TULIP only works when we see Christ at its center. Consider the TULIP as a chiasm with the "L" at the top of the pyramid. It is Jesus Christ which makes sense of all the doctrines of grace. Four-point Calvinists who reject Limited Atonement but embrace irresistible grace must consider this: Irresistible grace is not some abstract doctrine but must be seen in relation to Jesus Christ, specially in relation to the grace purchased by Christ upon the cross. The Spirit of Christ illuminates, regenerates and effectually brings to faith his elect. And this enabling, effectual grace is, from first to last, Christ-centered. It does not come out of a void, nor from some hidden source of grace in God the Father. Therefore Christ must have died for the elect so as to purchase that grace in a way – a redemptive way – that he did not die for the non-elect." (John Hendryx)

Then there are all the mega-churches and Charismatic / Pentecostal churches who appear to have grown strong in America and spread all over the world by decieved American evangelists.

Apparently some people realize it's not just to Come out of the Catholic Church, but there are many other heretical religious bodies as well.

The Bible Says Homosexuality is Sin.

I agree with those who understand that we should not be silent against any form of heresy. There is nothing within Catholicism that is not heretical; absolutely nothing. They worship the queen of the heavens and conjure up the body of Christ and eat Him! Now what are our duties; to understand an evil and then be silent? I would say they should be the same as our Lord and His Apostles when confronted with these false teachers.

Galatians 1:8. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!

Ephesians 5:11 Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; 12 for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. 14. For this reason it says, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.”

John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Disinformation.

Let me tell you a story that relates.
A pastor in Atlanta, Georgia had a church member who was warning of practising homosexuals coming into the churches, and the harm they were causing. The pastor brushed her warnings off, it wasn't that big a thing and he certainly didn't appreciate her bothering him with it and saw no need to speak out against it ... until he saw one of the deacons of his church pick up a male prostitute.
Roman Catholicism is not nice, and neither is homosexuality for that matter and since Scripture commands us to earnestly contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints we would be in sin against God to fail to do so hypocritially putting our heads into the sand and acting as if such things, false religion and perverted sexuality do not have horrible effects on people.
Bullwhip Guy is a brief video clip that illustrates the hypocrisy of those seeking to silence the preaching of the Truth.
Well I guess time will tell.

This falling away has to happen before our Lord returns. Other than " depart from me " what a horrible sentence Mt. 15:14..." leave them alone ". Cut off. Our Father could justly leave us all alone. Take a moment and praise him for our redemption. We were truly bought with a price. Redeemed.

Oh my goodness...the RC religious system is indeed worthy of ongoing discussion for many, many reasons.

This is the religious system that's prophesied of throughout Revelation and there are 1.1 Billion members around the globe who are being deceived by her abominations. She is the one that Jesus, through John, told his people to come out of.

I know it sounds like the RC gets harassed often but it's only because she has a large role to play in these end times and her membership is unparalled. So it's not about harassing Catholics, it's about getting the truth out to them because we love them and are concerned about their certain condemnation if Christ doesn't open their eyes to the truth.

That's how I see it anyway. : )
